UFC on ESPN 10 bonuses: Four ‘Performance of the Night’ nods handed out

Another week, another UFC event without a “Fight of the Night” bonus.

Another week, another UFC event without a “Fight of the Night” bonus. Instead, the promotion handed our four individual “Performance of the Night.”

The $50,000 awards went to [autotag]Marvin Vettori[/autotag], [autotag]Mariya Agapova[/autotag], [autotag]Christian Aguilera[/autotag], and [autotag]Tyson Nam[/autotag], all who earned finishing wins in their respective fights Saturday at UFC on ESPN 10 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Vettori led the way, earning a submission win to settle his grudge match with Karl Roberson in the co-main event. It was an all-action first round until Vettori sunk in a rear-naked choke at the 4:17 mark.

Agapova might’ve been the breakout star of UFC on ESPN 10 with her dominant performance, which led to a first-round submission win over Hannah Cifers.

Aguilera and Nam were part of UFC history with their respective knockout wins, as UFC on ESPN 10 became the first event to open up with three finishes inside of one minute. Aguilera opened the card with a 59-second TKO, and Nam followed with a 32-second knockout before Julia Avila, who did not receive a bonus, won with a 22-second TKO after that.
