Nashville Predators at Chicago Blackhawks odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Friday’s Nashville Predators at Chicago Blackhawks NHL odds and lines, with hockey picks, tips and predictions.

The Nashville Predators (25-21-2) play the grudge match of a three-game set against the Chicago Blackhawks (22-20-5) Friday at United Center. The puck will be dropped shortly after 8 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Predators-Blackhawks odds and lines, with NHL picks and predictions.

The Predators won Monday’s meeting in Nashville by a 5-2 count but took a 5-4 overtime loss Wednesday in Chicago. Nashville is 6-0-1 in the head-to-head season series, but two of its wins were decided beyond 60 minutes. This is the final meeting of the 2021 season.

Nashville remains fourth in the Central Division and has a tenuous hold on the division’s final playoff spot. Chicago is sixth and will be hard-pressed to qualify for the postseason with a very difficult remaining schedule.

Saros went 9-1-0 with a .952 save percentage from March 23-April 13, but he has slumped of late with a 1-2-1 record and 13 total goals allowed in his last four games. He has struggled on the road with a 4-7-1 record, .908 SV% and 2.92 goals against average through 13 games as a visitor.

Subban stopped 36 of the 40 shots he faced Wednesday. It was just his second home win in four outings at United Center; he owns a .897 SV% and 3.65 GAA at home.

Predators at Blackhawks: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Predators 3, Blackhawks 1

Money line (ML)

The Preds are shorthanded on offense with LW Filip Forsberg (upper body) out of the lineup, but there’s still plenty of firepower to bounce back against the lower-seeded ‘Hawks.

Nashville registered 50.47% of the total shot attempts and 56.60% of the scoring chances at 5-on-5 Wednesday and deserved a better fate than the overtime loss.

Back the PREDATORS (-125) to close out the head-to-head season series.

Against the spread (ATS)

The PREDATORS -1.5 (+195) are a considerably more profitable play on the puck line, where they need to win by 2 or more goals.

They have the edge in the goaltending matchup and had beaten the Blackhawks by 2 or more goals in three of four games before Wednesday’s loss.

Over/Under (O/U)

Back the UNDER 5.5 (-105).

The last two games were the only ones in the season series to play to the Over, and the most recent was with an uncharacteristically poor outing from Saros.

Nashville Predators at Chicago Blackhawks odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Wednesday’s Nashville Predators at Chicago Blackhawks NHL odds and lines, with hockey picks, tips and predictions.

The Nashville Predators (25-21-1) play the middle game of a three-game set with the Chicago Blackhawks (21-20-5) Wednesday with a 7 p.m. ET puck drop at United Center. Below, we analyze the Predators-Blackhawks odds and lines, with NHL picks and predictions.

The Predators won 5-2 in a battle between these rivals in the Music City Monday behind G Juuse Saros. Nashville has won each of the first six meetings in this season series while outscoring Chicago 19-8.

The Blackhawks have alternated wins and losses across their past four outings. They’re back on home ice, which normally would be good, but they’re just 2-4 over their previous six skates on United Center ice.

Predators at Blackhawks: Odds, spread and lines

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 8:25 a.m. ET.

Juuse Saros (16-9-0, 2.22 GAA, .928 SV%, 2 SO) vs. Kevin Lankinen (16-13-4, 2.89 GAA, .911 SV%, 2 SO)

Saros pushed past the Blackhawks Monday by stopping 30 of the 32 shots he faced. He has rolled up a 4-0-0 record, 0.98 GAA and .970 SV% with a shutout in his four starts against Chicago this season.

Lankinen allowed five goals on 22 shots in Monday’s game before getting pulled early in the third period. He has been impressive in his rookie season, but he is 0-3-1 with a 3.24 GAA And .899 SV% in four outings against the Predators. It’s his second-worst GAA against any opponent.

Predators at Blackhawks: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Predators 3, Blackhawks 1

Money line (ML)

The PREDATORS (-130) are the play on the road. There is no sense getting cute and starting to fade Nashville now. The Preds are a perfect 6-0 against Chicago this season. Stick with Nashville.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Against the spread (ATS)

As mentioned above, the PREDATORS -1.5 (+195) are a tempting play, even on the road.

They covered the puck line Monday at home, and they won by 2 or more goals in three of their past four meetings with the Blackhawks.

Over/Under (O/U)

The UNDER 5.5 (-110) is the lean here as it has dominated for the Predators lately. The Under is 4-1-1 in Nashville’s past six on the road, and 3-0-2 in the past five overall for the Preds.

The Under has also hit in five of the past six for Chicago while going 4-1-1 in its past six games against teams with a winning record.

Chicago Blackhawks at Nashville Predators odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Monday’s Chicago Blackhawks at Nashville Predators NHL odds and lines, with hockey picks, tips and predictions.

The Chicago Blackhawks (21-19-5) visit the Nashville Predators (24-21-1) Monday night for an 8 p.m. ET game at Bridgestone Arena. Below, we analyze the Blackhawks-Predators odds and lines, with NHL picks and predictions.

Blackhawks at Predators: Odds, spread and lines

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 12:40 p.m. ET.

  • Money line: Blackhawks +120 (bet $100 to win $120) | Predators -145 (bet $145 to win $100)
  • Against the spread/ATS: Blackhawks +1.5 (-200) | Predators -1.5 (+175)
  • Over/Under: 5.5 (O: -110 | U: -110)

Blackhawks at Predators: Projected starting goalies

Kevin Lankinen (16-12-4, .914 SV%, 2.79 GAA) vs. Juuse Saros (15-9-0, .928 SV%, 2.23 GAA)

Lankinen got off to a sparkling start to his rookie season, but his time behind a Chicago defense that gives up a league-high 33.0 shots per game is taking its toll. He has logged a pedestrian .884 SV% over his last 7 games. That stretch includes an April 3 loss at Nashville in which he yielded 3 goals on 21 shots.

Saros stopped 45 of 47 shots in a 3-1 Preds loss to the Csarolina Hurricanes Saturday. The 26-year-old has been on a roll and has notched a .952 SV% over his last 14 games. That stretch includes stopping 29 of 30 pucks against these Blackhawks March 27, and a 41-save shutout April 3. He’s 11-2 with a .940 SV% and 1.81 GAA at Bridgestone Arena this season.

Blackhawks at Predators: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Predators 3, Blackhawks 2

Money line (ML)

This game opens up a monster week that has the ‘Hawks and Preds meeting three times — once in Nashville and twice in Chicago.

The series has the feel of the NCAA Tournament First Four: the winner has a substantial edge in getting into the Stanley Cup Playoffs, likely as the No. 4 seed in the Central Division. The loser likely stays at home in the late-spring brackets on ice.

The Predators are playing the better hockey of the two clubs. Despite losing its last two games, Nashville is 13-5-0 since March 15. That span includes a 3-0 mark against the upstart Blackhawks. Chicago was at its best early and has since faded in and out of the playoff focus.

The Preds (-145) are a worthy favorite but not one to leverage at the listed odds. The juice knocks the price on the ‘Hawks too far out of profit range, as well. PASS.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Against the spread (ATS)

Letting this line marinate might draw a slightly better tag, but BLACKHAWKS +1.5 (-200) is the lean.

Chicago may just be too shorthanded on defense and young overall, but the ‘Hawks are a well-coached group. Figure on an even game or a one-goal deficit late in a contest where 5 total goals looks solid.

Over/Under (O/U)

The level line on the 5.5 goals is a bit of a surprise. These two clubs have trended toward grinding 3-1, 3-2 games, and they’ll have their best feet forward in a likely cautious open to Fourth Seed Week.

TAKE THE UNDER 5.5 (-110).

Chicago Blackhawks at Detroit Red Wings odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Thursday’s Chicago Blackhawks at Detroit Red Wings odds and lines, with NHL picks, tips and predictions.

The Chicago Blackhawks (20-18-5) play the Detroit Red Wings (15-23-6) Thursday evening at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. This is the first of back-to-back matchups between the two in Detroit with the second game Saturday evening. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Blackhawks-Red Wings odds and lines, with NHL picks and predictions.

These teams last met Feb. 28, a 7-2 Blackhawks victory in the Windy City.

The Red Wings, 5-3-2 in their last 10 games, were busy at the trade deadline as they prepare to miss the playoffs for a fifth-consecutive season. In their largest deal, RW Anthony Mantha was traded to the Washington Capitals, netting Detroit F Jakub Vrana, a first-round draft pick and more in the swap.

Meanwhile, the Blackhawks, 5-5-0 in their last 10, are fighting for their playoff life while sitting four points out of the fourth playoff position. Chicago has beat Detroit in three of their past four meetings.

Blackhawks at Red Wings: Odds, spread and lines

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 3:06 p.m. ET.

  • Money line: Blackhawks -165 (bet $165 to win $100) | Red Wings +140 (bet $100 to win $140)
  • Against the spread/ATS: Blackhawks -1.5 (+155) | Red Wings +1.5 (-185)
  • Over/Under: 5.5 (O: -120 | U: +100/EVEN)

Blackhawks at Red Wings: Projected starting goalies

Kevin Lankinen (16-11-4, .915 SV%, 2.79 GAA) at Jonathan Bernier (9-7-0, .914 SV%, 2.92 GAA)

Lankinen has been a workhorse for Chicago, starting six games already in April. He’s coming off back-to-back wins over Columbus Blue Jackets, but has given up no less than 2 goals in any game this month. Lankinen won his last two starts vs. the Red Wings, including a shutout.

Bernier, also projected to start, has started just two games this month, allowing 4.01 GAA. He’s coming off an April 12th victory over the Carolina Hurricanes where he allowed just one goal on 38 shots. In his last start against the Blackhawks on Feb. 27, he allowed three goals in a win.

Blackhawks at Red Wings: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Red Wings 4, Blackhawks 3

Money line (ML)

The Wings are just 1-5-0 vs. the Blackhawks this season, scoring 2 goals per game while allowing 4.2 per game. However, outside of a 7-1 demolishing at the hands of the Nashville Predators April 8, Detroit has been playing better as of late and are coming off back-to-back wins.

Confidence is never high predicting a Detroit victory in recent times, but a small-unit wager on the home underdog at +140 is worth the play.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Against the spread (ATS)

The Blackhawks are 24-19 ATS this season while the Wings are 27-17. While I like the Wings to win, I can’t see them scoring two-plus more than Chicago and the -185 isn’t worth the risk. PASS on the spread.

Over/Under (O/U)

The Blackhawks are 21-20 against the O/U. Their games have gone Over the projected 5.5 total in five of the last six. Detroit is 16-25 against the O/U and gone Over the total in three of its last five.

With some new faces, there should be some sloppy play … and goals, which helps them sneak past the OVER (-120).

Nashville Predators at Chicago Blackhawks odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Sunday’s Nashville Predators at Chicago Blackhawks NHL odds and lines, with hockey picks, tips and predictions.

The Nashville Predators (17-17-1) visit the Chicago Blackhawks (16-14-5) in a Sunday night (8:08 p.m. ET) game at the United Center. Below, we analyze the Predators-Blackhawks odds and lines, with NHL picks and predictions.

Predators at Blackhawks: Odds, spread and lines

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 11:45 a.m. ET.

  • Money line: Predators +100 (bet $100 to win $100) | Blackhawks -115 (bet $115 to win $100)
  • Against the spread/ATS: Predators +1.5 (-275) | Blackhawks -1.5 (+220)
  • Over/Under: 6 (O: +100 | U: -120)

Predators at Blackhawks: Projected starting goalies

Pekka Rinne (8-11-1, .899 SV%, 3.07 GAA) vs. Malcolm Subban (4-4-1, .903 SV%, 3.14 GAA)

Rinne is making his seventh straight start away from home. The first six games in that string amounted to a mixed bag. However, stopping 38 of 39 shots against Tampa Bay two starts back made for one of the veteran’s better turns of the year.

Subban is expected to make his first start in eight days. In just four games since Feb. 27, the Chicago backup has logged an .871 SV%.

Predators at Blackhawks: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Nashville 3, Chicago 2

Money line (ML)

The Preds and ‘Hawks wrap up a key two-game set in Chicago. Nashville is on a roll of late (6-1-0 last seven games) and is now just two points behind the Blackhawks for the fourth and final playoff slot in the Central.

A Chicago squad loaded with rookies may be hitting a wall in this compressed-schedule year. The ‘Hawks are 3-7-0 over their last 10 games; they’ve allowed a difficult-to-overcome 35.5 shots per game since Feb. 28.

The Predators own a Corsi-for of 54.6% over their last three games. They had a stranglehold on Saturday’s game (a 3-1 Nashville win) from start to finish. The Preds had a good plan for keeping the Blackhawks out of the slot, and Chicago struggled with some long possessions in its own zone.

BACK NASHVILLE +100.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Against the spread (ATS)

The puck line gets pricey on the lean-side (Nashville) here. PASS.

Over/Under (O/U)

Nashville and Chicago have played three low-scoring games in as many meetings this season. Subban has a solid history in posting nice starts off a long layoff. In their 6-1-0 stretch, the surging Preds have allowed more than two goals just once.

TAKE THE UNDER 6 (-120).

Chicago Blackhawks at Dallas Stars odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Tuesday’s Chicago Blackhawks at Dallas Stars NHL odds and lines, with hockey picks, tips and predictions.

The Chicago Blackhawks (13-8-5) visit the Dallas Stars (7-8-5) in a Tuesday night affair at American Airlines Center. Puck drop will be shortly after 8:30 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Blackhawks-Stars odds and lines, with NHL picks and predictions.

Blackhawks at Stars: Odds, spread and lines

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 9:20 a.m. ET.

  • Money line: Blackhawks +110 (bet $100 to win $110) | Stars -130 (bet $130 to win $100)
  • Against the spread/ATS: Blackhawks +1.5 (-250) | Stars -1.5 (+200)
  • Over/Under: 5.5 (O: +105 | U: -125)

Blackhawks at Stars: Projected starting goalies

Kevin Lankinen (9-4-4, .919 SV%, 2.76 GAA) vs. Anton Khudobin (4-7-1, .913 SV%, 2.60 GAA)

Malcolm Subban has gotten No. 2 minutes thus far, but the starts between he and Lankinen may start to level out in what is a tough March slate for the ‘Hawks. Lankinen is coming off a loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning Sunday in which he allowed 6 goals on 39 shots.

Khudobin has been roughed up of late. Two of his last three starts have been shaky, and over that stretch he owns an .839 SV%. Albeit in a small sample so far, his percentage of misfire starts is higher than it has been in years. Maybe Chicago will be a welcome sight: Khudobin logged a .963 SV% in three starts against the Blackhawks last season.

Blackhawks at Stars: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Stars 3, Blackhawks 2

Money line (ML)

The Blackhawks have beaten expectations in this rebuilding/injury-riddled season for them. Chicago owns the NHL’s second-best power play (31.17%) and has gotten quality play between the pipes. Lately, the ‘Hawks defensive inefficiencies seem to be catching up to them.

A youthful blue-line corps has been missing the injured Calvin de Haan, who has been out with a lower-body injury and who’s listed as questionable for a return in this one. Chicago has yielded 38.6 shots on goal per game over its last five, and its 34.4 shots-allowed average for the season ranks last in the league.

Dallas started the season 4-0-0 in its first four games. Last season’s Western Conference champs have inexplicably gone 3-8-5 since. The Stars have dealt with plenty of their own injuries, but of late their puck-possession numbers have been solid. In particular, Dallas has done well to limit high-quality scoring chances and they’ve done so against a decent schedule (and a significantly tougher one than Chicago’s).

DALLAS (-135) IS A DECENT PLAY. Consider waiting out a tag closer to -130.

Play our new free daily Pick’em Challenge and win! Play now!

Against the spread (ATS)

PASS ON THE PUCK LINE in a contest that has some low-scoring pull to it.

Over/Under (O/U)

The Stars have scored 8 goals over their last two games; they tallied just 8 combined in the six games prior.

The Under is a lean here, but too many Dallas penalties (15-plus PIM in three of the Stars’ last four games) expose the total to the Blackhawks’ fine power play. PASS.

Blackhawks at Blue Jackets: Projected starting goalies

Kevin Lankinen (7-3-3, .927 SV%, 2.43 GAA) vs. Joonas Korpisalo (5-4-3, .889 SV%, 3.49 GAA)

Lankinen owns a .939 SV% in 5-on-5 play. Among goaltenders appearing in 10 or more games, only G Andrei Vasilevskiy (Tampa Bay) and G Marc-Andre Fleury (Vegas) have better percentages. The ‘Hawks rookie logged his first career shutout two starts back (Feb. 17 vs. Detroit); he then allowed four goals in a loss in his last game (Feb. 19 vs. Carolina). Two of the four goals he allowed against the Hurricanes were of the power-play variety.

Korpisalo has been running hot-and-cold this month, and overall cold has been winning out. In eight February appearances, the 26-year-old Finn has logged a shaky .847 SV%. One of his iffy recent efforts came against these Blackhawks (5 goals allowed at Chicago on Feb. 11). Korpisalo’s last 60-minute start was Feb. 13; he’s since been pulled in one start and solid as a backup in another.

Blackhawks at Blue Jackets: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Blackhawks 3, Blue Jackets 2

Money line (ML)

Columbus is 4-5-1 with subpar puck-possession numbers over its last 10 games. The Jackets own a 63.6% kill rate on penalties over that span, and the losses have often been of the decisive variety.

Lankinen has made four starts on more than one day of rest. He has stopped 134 of 137 pucks (.978) in those four efforts. Chicago may prove to be a club too far out over its skis when it gets into a tough March schedule, but the Blackhawks are a solid play in this one.

Against the spread (ATS)

STEER CLEAR of the juice-filled prices here. A play on a Chicago club that has only once in its last 16 games lost by multiple scores is intriguing. A -225 on that side would make for some value.

Over/Under (O/U)

No lean here: PASS.

The Chicago Blackhawks (9-5-4) visit the Carolina Hurricanes (10-3-1) in a Friday night (7 p.m. ET) tussle at PNC Arena in Raleigh, N.C. Below, we analyze the Blackhawks-Hurricanes NHL odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

Blackhawks at Hurricanes: Odds, spread and lines

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 7:05 a.m. ET.

  • Money line: Blackhawks +165 (bet $100 to win $165) | Hurricanes -200 (bet $200 to win $100)
  • Against the spread/ATS: Blackhawks +1.5 (-165) | Hurricanes -1.5 (+140)
  • Over/Under: 6 (O: -110 | U: -110)

Blackhawks at Hurricanes: Projected starting goalies

Kevin Lankinen (7-2-3, .930 SV%, 2.29 GAA) vs. James Reimer (7-1-0, .895 SV%, 3.10 GAA)

Lankinen owns a .935 SV% over three road games. The Chicago rookie is coming off a nice bounce-back effort after allowing 6 goals against the Columbus Blue Jackets Feb. 11. He then stopped 29 of 31 shots in a win over the Jackets two nights later. Lankinen stopped 55 of 58 shots in back-to-back wins against Detroit Jan. 22 and 24.

Reimer made 37 saves in a home win against Columbus Monday. He started both games against Chicago on Feb. 2 and Feb. 4: he was touched up for eight goals, but half of those were of the power-play variety.

Blackhawks at Team: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Hurricanes 3, Blackhawks 2

Money line (ML)

The Hawks and Hurricanes split a pair of high-scoring games (combined 17 goals) in early February. Carolina scored eight goals in that series and has averaged 4.50 goals per game in six efforts since (4-1-1 record). The Canes’ puck-possession numbers have been strong of late: in the month of February, Carolina is getting 58.8% of 5-on-5 high-danger looks. Their 13.1 high-danger shots per game over that span rank third in the league.

Perhaps springboarding from that first meeting with the ‘Canes with some confidence, the Blackhawks have also been on a roll of late. Chicago is coming off a two-game sweep of the Red Wings in Detroit and is 5-1-0 in its last six. The ‘Hawks have gotten things done differently than the Hurricanes. A youthful bunch posting iffy Corsi and shot-type analytics, Chicago is excelling in special teams and getting solid goaltending. The ‘Hawks’ 32.7% power play ranks second in the NHL; their 82.1% mark on the PK ranks 11th.  Chicago’s .919 save percentage ranks fourth.

Both teams appear to be inflated by their records and recent trends. PASS on the ML prices, which may have been a decent Carolina play when the market opened. Chicago +175 would now trigger a play if the line moves further toward the Hurricanes.

Against the spread (ATS)

SKIP THIS PLAY also, but keep a eye on the Chicago side: in a game with a likable Under, a Blackhawks +1.5 (-155) line would have a sliver of leverage.

Over/Under (O/U)

The most unsupportable numbers on both sides are with the offenses TAKE THE UNDER 6 (-110). The market has shown a bit of lean the other way, so consider holding out until closer to puck drop for a more advantageous total or price

Chicago Blackhawks at Detroit Red Wings odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Wednesday’s Chicago Blackhawks at Detroit Red Wings NHL odds and lines, with hockey picks, tips and predictions.

The Chicago Blackhawks (8-5-4) and Detroit Red Wings (4-10-3) meet again Wednesday to close out a two-game Original Six set at Little Caesars Arena. Puck drop will be shortly after 7:30 p.m. ET. Below, we analyze the Blackhawks-Red Wings NHL odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

Blackhawks at Red Wings: Odds, spread and lines

Odds via BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated at 9:55 a.m. ET.

  • Money line: Blackhawks -140 (bet $140 to win $100) | Red Wings +120 (bet $100 to win $120)
  • Against the spread/ATS: Blackhawks -1.5 (+190) | Red Wings +1.5 (-245)
  • Over/Under: 5.5 (O: -115 | U: -105)

Blackhawks at Red Wings: Projected starting goalies

Kevin Lankinen (6-2-3, .925 SV%, 2.49 GAA) vs. Thomas Greiss (1-9-3, .899 SV%, 2.90 GAA)

22 and 24.

Greiss has won just once this winter, but he has been solid in five games since getting pulled 5:36 into a Feb. 3 start at the Tampa Bay Lightning. The 35-year-old vet owns a .920 SV% over his last five games. Greiss has been roughed up on the power play (.800 SV%), and that figures to be an area of concern against a Chicago team that has cranked out a 32.69% success rate with the extra man to rank third in the NHL.

Blackhawks at Red Wings: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Red Wings 3, Blackhawks 2

Money line (ML)

The Chicago power play may figure as a key element of this contest. Detroit has been disciplined of late, and when the Wings have been in the box, the penalty kill has made stops in 16 of its last 18 chances.

The Blackhawks defeated the Red Wings 3-2 in overtime Monday night but Detroit was outshooting Chicago for long stretches of that game; the Wings, in fact, doubled up the ‘Hawks 10-5 in 5-on-5 high-danger chances and that fits with recent puck-possession and shot-quality analytics.

Detroit has played better than its 2-4 mark over its last six games; Chicago has outkicked its coverage in going 5-1 over its last six.

BACK THE RED WINGS +120.

Against the spread (ATS)

Detroit is the likable side in a home game and a Game 2 situation BUT PASS ON THE PRICES OFFERED.

Over/Under (O/U)

The Under is a combined 22-12 with Chicago and Detroit this season, and the best value in this one is indeed on the Under.

The goalies figure to hold sway in a lot of 5-on-5 action. Lankinen is the more likable of the two, but the Wings’ defense of late (23 shots on goal allowed per game over their last four) evens the scales.

BACK THE UNDER 5.5 (-105).
