It’s been 27 years since Notre Dame knocked off a top ranked team in the nation.
I was seven years old and as much as I wish it wasn’t the case, I wish I remembered the Irish knocking off No. 1 Florida State back in 1993 better than I do.
What I can say now is that I’m thrilled beyond belief that I don’t have to go search YouTube to find old, non-HD videos to see Notre Dame knocking off No. 1 after their win over Clemson on Saturday.
It was 27 years in the making and worthy of celebrations that I’m certain will go long into the night for many.
But what was it like inside Notre Dame’s locker room following the 47-40, double-overtime win over Clemson?
