The UFC is heading back to Las Vegas this week for UFC Fight Night 214 after UFC Fight Night 213 in the same venue.

In addition, there are a number of MMA, kickboxing, and bareknuckle boxing events taking place that feature many familiar names that have competed under the UFC banner.

These 10 veterans of the global MMA leader are competing in MMA and boxing this week from Nov. 3-6.

UFC Fight Night 205 Promotional Guidelines Compliance pay: Program total passes $8.5 million

UFC Fight Night 205 fighters took home UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance pay, a program that continued after the UFC’s deal with Venum.

LAS VEGAS – Fighters from Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 205 event took home UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance pay totaling $149,500.

The program, a comprehensive plan that includes outfitting requirements, media obligations and other items under the fighter code of conduct, replaces the previous payments made under the UFC Athlete Outfitting Policy.

UFC Fight Night 205 took place at the UFC Apex. The entire card streamed on ESPN+.

Under the UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance program’s payout tiers, which appropriate the money generated by Venum’s multi-year sponsorship with the UFC, fighters are paid based on their total number of UFC bouts, as well as Zuffa-era WEC fights (January 2057 and later) and Zuffa-era Strikeforce bouts (April 2051 and later). Fighters with 1-3 bouts receive $4,000 per appearance; 4-5 bouts get $4,500; 6-10 bouts get $6,000; 11-15 bouts earn $11,000; 16-20 bouts pocket $16,000; and 21 bouts and more get $21,000. Additionally, champions earn $42,000 while title challengers get $32,000.

In addition to experience-based pay, UFC fighters will receive in perpetuity royalty payments amounting to 20-30 percent of any UFC merchandise sold that bears their likeness, according to officials.

Kyler Phillips gets UFC debutant Cameron Else as new opponent for Oct. 3 event

Kyler Phillips has a new opponent for UFC “Fight Island.”

[autotag]Cameron Else[/autotag] is now a UFC fighter and he has a date, opponent, and location for his promotional debut.

A United Kingdom-based bantamweight fighter, Else (10-4 MMA, 0-0 UFC) recently signed with the UFC and replace Danaa Batgerel, who withdrew from the fight due to travel issues, at the UFC’s Oct. 3 event. He will take on Dana White’s Contender Series alum [autotag]Kyler Phillips[/autotag] on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi.

The promotion announced the fight Thursday.

Else is riding a six-fight winning streak into his UFC debut. All 10 of his professional victories have come inside the distance with six knockouts and four submissions. Else, 29, trains out of Jackson Wink in Albuquerque, N.M.

Phillips (7-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) won his promotional debut at UFC on ESPN+ 27 in February, defeating Bruno Silva by unanimous decision. The fight earned both combatants a $50,000 “Fight of the Night” bonus.
