Bucs Thursday Week 10 Injury Report: New name added to list

A Bucs starter on the defensive line seems to have agitated their quad and is now on the injury report.

A new name has been added to the Bucs’ injury report on Thursday.

Defensive tackle Calijah Kancey seems to have done something to irritate his quad, as he was listed as a limited participant on Thursday’s report. The team will hope it’s nothing serious, but Kancey has done well to develop in the pass rush game and his absence would be a factor against the Tennessee Titans in Week 10. In other news, corner Jamel Dean was a limited participant as he recovers from his concussion and wideout Trey Palmer appears to be sick and did not participate on Thursday. WR Deven Thompkins returned to practice after not attending Wednesday for a personal matter and defensive lineman Vita Vea was a full participant on Thursday.

Here is what the Thursday injury report looks like:

On the Titans’ side, wide receiver Treylon Burks is still not practicing after suffering a concussion and linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair is was a limited participant after not going on Wednesday. Cornerback Anthony Kendall suffered a regression with his hamstring injury, not practicing on Wednesday.

Bucs reveal uniform combo for Week 10

The red jerseys still aren’t back, y’all.

It’s November, but it still isn’t cold enough outside to bring out the red uniforms, it seems.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set to face off against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, and despite making it to November and out of the fall, the team still doesn’t want to wear its red jerseys. The Bucs announced on Thursday that the team will wear red over pewter at home Sunday, meaning that the team has only worn red once in 10 weeks.

The Bucs have worn red over pewter twice before this and are 1-1 in the uniform combo. The team wore it in its first game of the season against the Vikings and picked up a win, but wore it against the Buffalo Bills on Thursday Night Football and lost. With this being the third time this uniform will appear, it’s the second-most worn combo the Tampa Bay has worn — the Bucs have worn white over white four times so far this season.

Bucs Wednesday Week 10 Injury Report: Four players held out

Matt Feiler and Logan Hall, two players that were out in Week 9 against the Texans, returned to practice.

Four players did not participate in Wednesday’s practice.

Carlton Davis was held out with a toe injury, but he was available to reporters and it sounded as if he was going to play on Sunday. Cornerback Jamel Dean suffered a concussion against the Houston Texans and will thus have to clear concussion protocol before he is able to play again. CB and special-teamer Josh Hayes was also out due to a concussion, while wideout and kick returner Deven Thompkins did not practice due to a personal matter.

Everyone else listed on the report was a limited participant, including defensive tackle Logan Hall and offensive lineman Matt Feiler, who did not play in Week 9.

Here’s what the full injury report looks like:

The Tennessee Titans have quite a few players on their injury report, and five players did not participate. Among them are wideout Treylon Burks, who suffered a bad concussion on Thursday Night Football against the Steelers, and former Bucs CB Sean Murphy-Bunting, who is dealing with a thumb injury.

TV broadcast map for Bucs vs. Titans in Week 10

Here’s where you’ll be able to catch the Bucs play the Titans in Week 10:

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are looking to get back on track in 2023 with a win over the Tennessee Titans, and local fans of both teams will be able to watch the showdown.

The game is set to be on CBS at 1 p.m. EST. Here is where you’ll be able to catch the Bucs play the Titans, per 506 Sports:

Andrew Catalon, Tiki Barber and former Bucs rival Matt Ryan will call the game on CBS. It will be available mostly in market and a few areas in the states surrounding Florida and Tennessee.

The Bucs are looking to snap a four-game losing streak when they play the Titans and will be back home for the first time in two weeks. The Bucs are just 1-3 so far at home this year, but the Titans haven’t won a game on the road at all in 2023, so the unstoppable force will meet the immovable object on Sunday.

Titans officially name QB Will Levis as starter, will play Bucs in Week 10

It was expected, but the Bucs will now officially face off against its second rookie quarterback in two weeks on Sunday.

While it was expected, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will officially be facing off against Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis on Sunday.

Titans head coach Mike Vrabel confirmed to media Tuesday that Levis will remain Tennessee’s starting quarterback going forward. Levis was filling in for an injured Ryan Tannehill in the team’s last two games due to Tannehill suffering a high ankle sprain, but Tannehill will remain on the bench and Levis will take over for the Titans.

Levis has had a tumultuous two games as a starter so far. He threw four touchdowns in his debut against the Atlanta Falcons, but he threw no touchdowns and a game-sealing interception against the Steelers. He clearly has showcased the ability to show out, though, so the Bucs defense will need to be wary due to his lack of film and potential he displayed against Atlanta.

Head coach Todd Bowles has a winning record against rookie QBs with the Bucs, but that record took a hit against C.J. Stroud in Week 9. Bowles is 7-5 against rookie quarterbacks, and he’ll need to tap into the winning side of things as much as he can in the next two weeks — after Levis, the Bucs will face rookie QB Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers.

Bucs open as 1.5-point favorites against the Tennessee Titans in Week 10

The Bucs remain favored in their quest to end a four-game losing streak, but only barely.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are favored in their next matchup despite losing four straight games and going just 1-3 at home, but it isn’t by a lot.

BetMGM has the Bucs favored by 1.5 points against the Tennessee Titans, who are coming to town with a new quarterback under center in Will Levis. The Bucs were just bested by a rookie quarterback in C.J. Stroud, so the team will look to limit Levis’ impact next Sunday. The money line is in favor of Tampa Bay at -115 while bettors don’t expect the two squads to score a lot of points, with the over-under set at 38.5.

Both the Bucs and the Titans are 3-5, but the Titans are only coming off a one-game losing streak while the Bucs have dropped four in a row. The Titans also defeated the Atlanta Falcons with their most recent win, while the Bucs struggled with that same Falcons team at home a few weeks ago. Tampa Bay will have to win this game, as another loss could take them squarely out of the playoff race.
