Bucs-Lions Final Injury Report: Beau Allen, two other Bucs ruled out

See the final injury report for both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Detroit Lions ahead of Sunday’s Week 15 matchup.

The 6-7 Tampa Bay Buccaneers head to Detroit riding a three-game winning-streak and have a chance to pull their record back to .500 with a win.

The big news of the week was the loss of wide receiver Mike Evans, whose hamstring injury will keep him out for the rest of the regular season. Aside from Evans, the Bucs have ruled two others out for Sunday’s matchup: NT Beau Allen and OLB Anthony Nelson.

The good news for Tampa Bay is that they are playing a Lions team that has lost six-straight games and are playing with an undrafted rookie quarterback under center in David Blough.

There’s no such thing a sure-thing when it comes to NFL games, but you’ve got to like the Bucs’ odds of winning this matchup even without Evans. Jameis Winston is coming off a career game in Week 14 and is on pace to pass 5,000 yards this season. I expect him to keep putting up yardage against Detroit.

Bucs-Lions Injury Report (Dec. 12): Jameis Winston limited in practice

See the latest injury report for both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Detroit Lions ahead of Sunday’s Week 15 matchup.

The Buccaneers may not be playing for a postseason spot anymore, but they’ve still got pride on the line as they travel to Detroit in Week 15 to take on the woeful Lions.

Tampa Bay will already be without wide receiver Mike Evans, who suffered a hamstring injury in last Sunday’s win over the Colts and has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

Quarterback Jameis Winston suffered a fractured thumb in that game and was seen throwing tennis balls at practice today instead of the football.

Below is the latest injury report for both the Bucs and Lions ahead of Sunday’s game.

With T.J. Logan out with a broken thumb, who will return kicks for the Bucs?

Find out who the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will turn to on kickoff and punt returns following the injury to T.J. Logan.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers caught a tough break yesterday (no pun intended) when running back and return man T.J. Logan broke his thumb, ending his 2019 season.

Logan had been returning kicks for the Bucs this season and took over punt return duties, too, following Tampa Bay’s Week 6 loss to the Carolina Panthers, in which then-punt returner Bobo Wilson fumbled the ball twice, losing one.

With Logan out, the Bucs will turn to wide receiver Justin Watson on punt returns and running back Dare Ogunbowale on kickoff returns.

Tampa Bay has also ruled out the below four players for Sunday’s Week 14 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.

Tampa Bay is riding their first winning-streak of the season entering Sunday. With convincing wins over the Atlanta Falcons and Jacksonville Jaguars the last two weeks, the Bucs sit at 5-7, and with a win will avoid their third-straight 5-11 season.

Talk about motivation to win.

Colts-Bucs Injury Report (Dec. 5): Jason Pierre-Paul limited in practice

Check out the latest injury report for the Indianapolis Colts and Tampa Bay Buccaneers ahead of Week 14’s game at Raymond James Stadium.

The Buccaneers have looked like one of the hottest teams in the NFL over the past two weeks, with convincing wins on the road against both the Atlanta Falcons and Jacksonville Jaguars.

And, unlike in past wins when the offense was the one carrying this team to victory, it’s been an all-around team effort on both sides of the ball. Tampa Bay is 3-1 in their past four games since they returned home to Raymond James Stadium in Week 10 following a five-game stretch on the road. It really makes you wonder how this season might’ve turned out had they not had to play road games in Los Angeles, London and Seattle.

The Colts have lost four of their last five games and have seen their playoff chances slip away. The Bucs would love to put the final nail in the coffin on Indy’s season, and, with the way Tampa Bay has been playing of late, there’s a could chance they’ll do just that.

With that, here is the injury report for both teams for December 5.

Bucs-Jaguars Final Injury Report (Nov. 29): Who’s in, who’s out for Week 13

See who’s in and who’s out for Week 13’s matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Jacksonville Jaguars.

It’s a battle of 4-7 teams Sunday when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers travel north to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Bucs are riding high off their win in Week 12 over the Atlanta Falcons, a game which head coach Bruce Arians called the team’s best complete game of the season. They’ll look to build off that momentum as they go up against a Jaguars team looking to redeem themselves after last week’s 42-20 thumping at the hands of the Tennessee Titans.

See who’s in and who’s out for Sunday’s game, courtesy of the final injury report for both teams.

WR Scotty Miller, two others ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Jaguars

The Buccaneers have ruled three players out for Sunday’s Week 13 matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be without three players on Sunday when they take on the Jacksonville Jaguars: WR Scotty Miller, OLB Anthony Nelson and CB M.J. Stewart.

Nelson and Stewart were the only two Buccaneers ruled out for last week’s game against the Atlanta Falcons, a game Tampa Bay won in dominating fashion, 35-22. Head coach Bruce Arians said it was the best complete game this squad has played all year.

Both the Bucs and Jags currently sit at 4-7, but the Buccaneers have momentum on their side after that big win over their division rival last week. Jacksonville, meanwhile, was run into the ground by the Tennessee Titans in Week 12, and have still not won a game since quarterback Nick Foles reclaimed the starting job from Gardner Minshew (0-2).

A win for the Bucs would give them their first back-to-back wins of the season and likely quell calls for Jameis Winston’s job, at least for another week.

Bucs-Jaguars Injury Report (Nov. 27): Beau Allen, Jamel Dean limited

Check out the injury report for both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Jacksonville Jaguars ahead of their Week 13 showdown.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had the league’s toughest schedule the first half of the season, playing five-straight games away from the friendly confines of Raymond James Stadium.

During that stretch, the Bucs traveled for games in Los Angeles, New Orleans, London, Tennessee and Seattle, respectively, going just 1-4.

Fortunately, their road game in Week 13 will keep them in-state as they travel to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars, who, like the Bucs, sit at 4-7.

Here is the injury report for both teams from November 27.

Bucs-Falcons Final Injury Report: Jason Pierre-Paul is a go for Sunday

See the final injury report for both the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons ahead of Sunday’s Week 12 showdown.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are looking to get back on the winning track this week as they take on the suddenly streaking Atlanta Falcons, who have won their past two games by outscoring their opponents 55-12.

The Bucs’ offense looked out of sync in Week 11’s loss to the New Orleans Saints, so getting Jameis Winston comfortable early on will be key for offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich.

On the defensive side of the ball, Tampa Bay will have star pass rusher Jason Pierre-Paul back for Sunday’s action. JPP had been dealing with a knee issue early in the week, but was a full participant at Friday’s practice.

Two Bucs have been ruled out for Sunday’s game, OLB Anthony Nelson and DB M.J. Stewart. OLB Carl Nassib has been listed as questionable for Sunday’s game, but Bruce Arians expects him to be back on the field.

Here is the final injury report for both teams.

Two Bucs ruled out for Sunday’s game vs. Falcons, Carl Nassib on track to return

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have ruled two players out for Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons.

The Bucs are hoping to get Carl Nassib back on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, who have been one of the hottest teams in the NFL the past two weeks.

The Falcons, who started the season 1-7, have taken down both the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers on the road, outscoring them 55-12.

Tampa Bay is coming off a tough home loss to the Saints in Week 11, one in which quarterback Jameis Winston threw four interceptions, though you can pin one on tight end O.J. Howard.

Tampa Bay has yet to win back-to-back games this season. Another loss would send them to 3-8 and all but assure them of another losing record.

One thing to keep an eye out for early in the game Sunday is Bucs wide receiver Mike Evans, who needs just seven more yards to get to 1,000 on the season. It would be his sixth-straight 1,000 yard season, tying him with Hall of Famer Randy Moss for the most in NFL history to begin a career.
