The Oklahoma Sooners improved to 5-4 with a 45-point win over the Maine Black Bears on Saturday. The 59-14 victory snapped a three-game losing streak and put OU one win from bowl eligibility with three games to go.
Now that they’re back over .500, the Sooners will hit the road to Columbia, Missouri, to take on the Missouri Tigers in Week 11 as they jump back into [autotag]SEC[/autotag] play. We already knew the contest would be a night game, but we now know the kickoff time and the channel the game will be on.
Oklahoma at Missouri will be carried on the SEC Network and will kick off at 6:45 p.m. CT. It’s the third game of the season for the Sooners on the SEC Network, joining Houston and South Carolina earlier in the season.
Perhaps more importantly, it’s the fourth prime-time game this season. OU played Temple, Houston and Tennessee under the lights and are 2-1 in prime-time games this year. Oklahoma had just three games in prime time in 2023.
[autotag]Brent Venables[/autotag] and the Oklahoma Sooners look for back-to-back victories to get that elusive second conference win.
Given the animosity between the two fan bases, it’s sure to be a rowdy atmosphere come game day. The Sooners had better be ready for a battle in prime time.
