Kickoff time, broadcast info announced for Oklahoma Sooners at BYU Cougars

In the aftermath of the Sooners beatdown of West Virginia, we now know what time and on what channel Oklahoma will play BYU.

After a dominating win over the West Virginia Mountaineers, the Oklahoma Sooners now know what time they’ll face the BYU Cougars in week 12.

Making their first trip to Provo, the Sooners and Cougars will kick off at 11 a.m. CT on ABC.

The Sooners hope to remove BYU from the small list of schools that the University of Oklahoma has never beaten. The Cougars hold a 2-0 edge in the all-time series.

The last time the two sides met, it was in the nonconference portion of the schedule at AT&T Stadium back in 2009. The Sooners lost 14-13 in a game where Sam Bradford was injured early and the Sooners offense struggled to move the ball without their Heisman winning quarterback.

This season, the two teams are trending in vastly different directions.

Oklahoma is 8-2 and coming off an impressive win over the West Virginia Mountaineers. BYU is 5-4 and getting blown out by Iowa State at home as of this writing.

The Cougars are a tough football team and can’t be taken lightly. However, if recent results are any indication, the Sooners should be able to come out of Provo with a win.

Game time, broadcast information announced for Oklahoma Sooners’ Week 9 contest at Kansas

Game time and broadcast information released for Oklahoma’s Week 9 matchup in Lawrence with the Kansas Jayhawks.

As the Oklahoma Sooners get set to take on the UCF Knights in Week 8, we learn what time they’ll face the Kansas Jayhawks.

Oklahoma goes on the road in Week 9 to take on the Jayhawks and will be playing at everyone’s favorite time, 11 a.m. CT (note sarcasm).

Including this week against UCF, next week’s contest will be the fifth time in eight games the Sooners will play in the early time slot and the third game in a row.

The Oklahoma Sooners have won 18 in a row over the Jayhawks dating to the 2000 national championship season. OU holds an 80-27-6 record all time over their opponents to the north.

In their last trip to Lawrence, the Sooners needed heroics from Caleb Williams on a cold and dreary day to pull out the 35-23 victory. The Sooners trailed 10-0 at halftime and were able to get their running game going in the second half.

Last year, the offense erupted for 700 yards of total offense, including nearly 300 yards rushing.

This year, the Kansas Jayhawks (5-2) and the Oklahoma Sooners (6-0) have the potential to be a big-time Big 12 matchup in Week 9. The game can be seen on Fox, and Lawrence could be the location for Fox “Big Noon Kickoff.”

Oklahoma Sooners vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys game time announced

Bedlam will be played under the lights. The Oklahoma Sooners and Oklahoma State Cowboys will face off on ABC at 6:30 P.M. From @bendackiw

Despite the Oklahoma Sooners and Oklahoma State Cowboys both struggling in recent weeks, this year’s Bedlam matchup will be played in prime time.

OU-OSU will be played Saturday at 6:30 p.m. Central on ABC. The TV networks love Bedlam, and this year is no exception.

It’s going to be a cold night. The expected high on Saturday is 40 degrees, and the temperature is going to drop as the night goes on. Bedlam is going to be a cold one this year.

Oklahoma State is third in the Big 12. A loss and a Kansas State win would end its Big 12 Championship hopes.

Meanwhile, the Sooners still aren’t bowl eligible. A win on Saturday night would get them that sixth win.

Present for Bedlam will be former Sooners great Dusty Dvoracek, who will be a part of the broadcast team for Saturday night.

One year ago, this matchup was Lincoln Riley’s final game as the head coach of the Sooners. The aftermath of last year’s Bedlam will be remembered by Sooners fans for years to come.

Oklahoma is expected to remain a part of the Big 12 through the 2024 season, so there should be a couple more Bedlam matchups after this one. However, if Oklahoma, Texas and the Big 12 can agree to a buyout, this could end up being the final Bedlam contest for some time. If this will be the last time Oklahoma fans see the Pokes in Norman for a while, the Sooners need to make this night one to remember.

Saints vs. Packers: Game time, TV schedule, streaming, and more

Saints vs. Texans: Game time, TV schedule, streaming, and more, via @DillySanders:

The New Orleans Saints dissapointingly dropped their first preseason game against the Houston Texans last weekend. The young guns of the roster will look to correct that and bounce back in a better showing this weekend when they travel to Lambeau and face the Green Bay Packers.

The Packers also lost their first game after Jordan Love threw three interceptions, he will be looking to correct that course against a Saints defense that looked dominant early. On the other hand, all three of the San Francisco 49ers quarterbacks threw touchdowns, a performance that Ian Book will look to repeat after his upsetting showing in week one. Here is how you can watch to see if the Saints can bounce back:
