The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to elite quarterback prospect Gentry Williams. Williams is a dual-threat quarterback, who is rated as a four-star prospect and is an elite talent.
Williams, who is currently a sophomore in high school, is the second-rated dual-threat QB in the class of 2022 and is currently the number one prospect in the state of Oklahoma. In fact, he’s rated as a top ten player in his class according to 247sports.
Williams plays high school football at Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was excited to receive a scholarship offer from the University of Georgia:

Williams is a key target for Kirby Smart and Georgia in the class of 2022. Georgia already has a commitment in the class of 2021 from five-star dual-threat quarterback Brock Vandagriff. Georgia may not need an elite QB from the class of 2022 with Vandagriff in the mix. Georgia may be moving towards more dual-threat QBs in the future.
Will Williams choose UGA or decide to stay home with the Oklahoma Sooners? Georgia will have a tough time luring an elite QB recruit from one of college football’s best environments for QBs (Sooners QBs have won two out of the last three Heisman Trophies).
