What we learned from the Bills’ win over the Lions

What we learned from the #Bills’ win over the #Lions:

Here are three things we learned from the Buffalo Bills’ 28-25 win over the Detroit Lions in Week 12:

Bills QBs coach Ken Dorsey in running for Lions offensive coordinator job

Buffalo Bills quarterbacks coach Ken Dorsey connected to Detroit Lions offensive coordinator role.

The Buffalo Bills don’t appear to be losing offensive coordinator Brian Daboll this offseason. He interviewed for two jobs with the Chargers and Jets but those clubs decided to go in another direction.

Had Daboll been hired, some pointed to Bills quarterbacks coach Ken Dorsey as a potential replacement. In the future, Dorsey might not be an option at offensive coordinator for the Bills.

According to the Detroit Free Press, Dorsey is one of three candidates for the Lions’ vacant offensive coordinator job. This week, the Lions announced Dan Campbell as their next head coach and he’s currently filling out his coaching staff.

Campbell himself said he has interviewed at least four for the job. The other two candidates referenced in the report are James Urban, the Ravens’ QB coach, and Anthony Lynn, former Chargers head coach. And prior to that, Daboll.

In addition to the Dorsey update, Bills defense coordinator Leslie Frazier interviewed for the vacant Texans head coaching spot. A report from Thursday said that Frazier is one of two candidates under “heavy consideration” for that job.
