The final game of the opening weekend features the Ravens at the Raiders in what figures to be a wild first game with fans at Allegiant Stadium. But despite the hostile environment, oddsmakers favor the Ravens by a touchdown.

Baltimore Ravens at Las Vegas Raiders (8:15 p.m. ET)

  • Money line: Ravens -300 (bet $300 to win $100) | Raiders +240 (bet $100 to win $240)
  • Spread: Ravens -6 (-110) | Raiders +6 (-110)
  • Over/Under: 51.5 (O: -110 | U: -110)

The 6-point spread is the fifth largest among week one odds. The four with larger margins were the Bucs (-6.5) over Cowboys, Bills (-6.5) over Steelers, 49ers (-7.5) over Lions, and Rams (-7) over Bears.

Both the Raiders and Ravens finished second in their division last season, but the Raiders did so at 8-8 and missing the playoffs, while the Ravens did so at 11-5, winning the tie-break over a tough Browns teams, giving the AFC North two of three wild card teams.

Pre-draft rankings had Trevon Moehrig as the best safety in this year’s draft. He was the only one who was expected to go in the first round.

Though he not only didn’t go in the first round, Moehrig ended up being the third safety drafted. Here are the early Defensive Rookie of the Year odds from William Hills Sports Book with Moehrig leading the way among safeties.

Moehrig comes in with 20/1 odds to win DROY honors. That’s just outside the top ten among all rookie defenders. Jevon Holland and Richie Grant — the two safeties taken ahead of Moehrig — both come in with 50/1 odds.

The best odds go to LB Micah Parsons, DE Kwity Paye, and oddly Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah. Even though Koramoah didn’t come off the board until 52nd overall in the second round. The only other player in the top ten who was not selected in the first round was LB Azeez Ojulari.’

No other Raiders’ draft picks were listed among the odds.

Alabama – Ole Miss BetMGM betting odds

Alabama will take on lane kiffin and Ole Miss. Here are the the betting lines including spread, moneyline and over under.

Alabama enters Week 3 of SEC action with a 2-0 record, Missouri and Texas A&M are in the rear-view mirror and Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss is the focal point for the Crimson Tide.

Former Alabama offensive coordinator, Kiffin, is in his first season coaching at Ole Miss. While his record with the team in 2020 is 1-1, and the team seems to have more life than in seasons past, the odds are against Kiffin. After Alabama’s win over Jimbo Fisher and the Aggies in Week 2, Nick Saban is now a perfect 20-0 against former assistant coaches.

BetMGM‘s latest lines for Alabama vs. Mississippi also predict an Alabama win by multiple touchdowns.

Last week, Alabama moneyline (-715) hit, Alabama’s spread of -16.5 (-110) hit and the over of 52.5 (-110) hit, as well.

Here’s what the lines look like for this Saturday’s SEC contest:

Odds courtesy of BetMGM Sportsbook.

Alabama: -22.5 (-110)

Ole Miss: +22.5 (-110)

Money line:

Washington opens as 6.5-point underdog to Cleveland Browns in Week 3

Another tough road game will greet Washington in Cleveland next week, where they’re expected to lose by a touchdown.

Washington is coming off of a tough loss where they were faced with slowing down a proficient offense, and things don’t look to be getting much easier for them going forward.

A week from now, Washington will travel to Cleveland to take on the Browns, who are themselves coming off of an impressive win over the Cincinnati Bengals where their offense finally seemed to get into rhythm.

After being faced with slowing down a combination of Kyler Murray, DeAndre Hopkins, Kenyon Drake, Larry Fitzgerald, and Christian Kirk, now Washington will look to slow down Baker Mayfield, Odell Beckham Jr., Nick Chubb, Jarvis Landry, and Austin Hooper.

The betting public has the Browns favored by approximately a touchdown, and there’s a good chance that the line moves, especially as more news about the injury to Brandon Scherff comes out.

How to watch, wager, live stream, listen to Cowboys-Redskins Week 17

How to watch, live stream online, listen to Cowboys-Redskins, Week 17.

The final week of the 2019 regular season is upon us.  While the season hasn’t turned out the way most had hoped for, the Cowboys still have an outside chance to make the playoffs.  First and foremost, they must emerge victorious in a rematch against the Washington Redskins.

The Cowboys last played the Redskins way back in Week 2, a 31-21 Cowboys victory.  Dak Prescott had 269 yards passing to go along with three touchdowns.  Ezekiel Elliott had a touchdown to go along with 111 yards rushing.

A victory alone Sunday won’t clinch a playoff spot for the Cowboys, however.  In addition to defeating the Redskins, the Giants must defeat the Eagles for the Cowboys to play January football.

Fortunately, things may be a bit easier as the Redskins are missing rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins and star rookie receiver, Terry McLaurin.  Given recent history, however, injuries of opposing teams haven’t made things easier for the Cowboys, and Dallas may be without Tyron Smith and Byron Jones.

A loss Sunday would almost assure the Cowboys a top-15 pick in the 2019 draft with a 7-9 record.  A win would secure an 8-8 record for the fourth time under Jason Garrett, and there might not be a more symbolic exit if Garrett is indeed let go.

One thing is certain, there will be a lot of scoreboard watching as both NFC East games kickoff at the same time.  It’s too bad the Cowboys didn’t take care of business to render that irrelevant.
