Bengals share photo of Joe Burrow in new redesigned jerseys

For the first time in a long time, Bengals fans have something to be excited about.

The [autotag]Cincinnati Bengals[/autotag] know they have a team, and more particularly, a quarterback, that fans are excited about.

The Bengals social media team has done a superb job this offseason feeding into that hype, and utilizing a new redesigned jersey alongside [autotag]Joe Burrow[/autotag] certainly isn’t a bad idea.

Burrow rocks the look, too.

Burrow and this Bengals team have a lot to prove this coming season. This offense should be well above average, and maybe even borderline excellent dependent upon how the things shake out.

Former NFL scout believes Ja’Marr Chase and Joe Burrow will have big seasons

Cincinnati Bengals fans are excited this offseason as the Bengals believe they have their franchise quarterback and franchise playmaker.

Cincinnati Bengals fans are as excited as they’ve probably been in their lifetime as the [autotag]Bengals[/autotag] have a franchise caliber quarterback in [autotag]Joe Burrow[/autotag], and now a potentially franchise-altering player-maker on offense in wide receiver [autotag]Ja’Marr Chase[/autotag].

Former NFL scout Mark Ross recently spoke on NFL Network, and he had a lot of positive things to say about former LSU stars [autotag]Joe Burrow[/autotag] and [autotag]Ja’Marr Chase[/autotag].

“Chase will breakout to be the Offensive Rookie of the Year. He was the most talented wide receiver that I scouted since [autotag]Julio Jones[/autotag] and came out in 2011. A lot of other great wide receivers, but he was right there at the top as far as the best guy I scouted. You always talk about practice reps with quarterbacks and wide receivers being on the same page, well these guys don’t even have to practice together because they did it at the highest level. We know [autotag]Joe Burrow[/autotag] won just about every award when he was coming out of LSU that year so that synergy I think that these two have will put them on the field right away to breakout together.”

[lawrence-related id=19101]

The Bengals offense looks pretty dangerous on paper with Chase sliding in alongside wide receivers Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd, and running back Joe Mixon ion the backfield.

The Bengals are a team that we’ll continue to talk about leading up to week one of the 2021 NFL season.

Hopes are high for this squad, and if we know Burrow and Chase like we think we do – they’re ready to embrace the hype.

NFL analyst predicts Joe Burrow exploding into stardom in 2021

Burrow is one of the more talked about NFL quarterbacks this offseason, and for good reason.

The debate around [autotag]Joe Burrow[/autotag] and [autotag]Justin Herbert[/autotag] will live on for many years, as both quarterbacks seem destined for great careers.

Some believe the [autotag]Cincinnati Bengals[/autotag] may regret taking Burrow over Herbert. While others (myself included) believe that the Bengals have the right guy to lead their franchise to new levels of success.

[lawrence-related id=18682]

Burrow is one of the more talked about NFL quarterbacks this offseason; partially because of his injury recovery and rehab timeline. But also because of the overall presence, work ethic, and leadership.

Burrow has clearly won over his teammates, coaches, and of course the Bengals fanbase.

Bleacher Report’s Kristopher Knox lists Burrow as the next quarterback to explode into stardom in the 2021 NFL season:

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow started strong as a rookie, passing for 2,688 yards with 13 touchdowns and five interceptions in 10 games. However, he also suffered a season-ending knee injury and was sacked an alarming 32 times in those 10 contests.

The good news is that Burrow is expected to be ready by Week 1 and should have a much better supporting cast. The Bengals added veteran Riley Reiff and rookie Jackson Carman to their offensive line and drafted Burrow’s former teammate and receiver Ja’Marr Chase fifth overall.

With returning weapons like Tyler Boyd, Tee Higgins, Joe Mixon and Drew Sample, Burrow should be poised for a breakout campaign. One analyst believes the 24-year-old could vault toward the top of the divisional pack.

“I got Joe Burrow throwing for more yards and more TDs than any quarterback in the AFC North,” ESPN’s Chris Canty said on Get Up.

Don’t be shocked if Burrow earns the first Pro Bowl selection of his career in 2021.

The Bengals offense looks quite promising on paper. But we all know that the success of this team hinges on how Burrow plays and progresses in his second year.

NFL analyst predicts a massive season for Bengals’ Joe Burrow

Cincinnati Bengals fans have high hopes for their team entering the 2021 NFL season, and one NFL analyst believes that hype is warranted.

Cincinnati Bengals fans have high hopes for their team entering the 2021 NFL season. Quarterback Joe Burrow looks to be fully recovered from his ACL injury he suffered last season and assuming his positive progression continues, the Bengals will have the face of their franchise ready to begin the season week one against the Minnesota Vikings.

Prior to Burrow going down with that brutal season-ending injury, we saw flashes of immense promise from the Bengals signal-caller.

LSU fans have had the privilege of watching Burrow overcome adversity and offs during his time at LSU.

And if I could speak for all of LSU nation, I’d say that Bengals fans are in for a fun ride as they get to watch Burrow make his return to the field with a chip on his shoulder.

Last week, former Super Bowl-winning defensive end Chris Canty appeared on ESPN’s Get Up, and he gave his thoughts on just how excited Bengals fans should be for the 2021 NFL season.

Leading the AFC in yards and touchdowns is an extremely tall ask of Burrow this season, yet it’s tough to totally rule it out.

[lawrence-related id=18887]

Several teammates and coaches of Burrow have been on the record in saying they believe Burrow has actually improved aspects of his game while rehabbing from his injury.

Burrow has elite company to compete within the AFC North as quarterbacks Baker Mayfield, Lamar Jackson, and Ben Roethlisberger all have competent offensive skill players with above-average overall teams.

If Burrow were to top the list of AFC North quarterbacks, expect big things from this Bengals team in 2021.

If Burrow is the guy we all think he is, the Bengals’ future is quite bright.

Joe Burrow: ‘See you in September’

A hungry Joe Burrow could be a problem for the entire AFC North.

“See you in September.”

Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow writes in a post via his instagram account.

LSU fans already know who Burrow is as a player and a leader.

But Bengals fans are in for a treat.

[lawrence-related id=18675,18673]

Injury aside, Burrow accomplished what he needed to his rookie year. He proved he can be a franchise quarterback and a game-changer for his team.

The NFL is clearly a win now league – and Burrow is up for that challenge.

Burrow seems to have taken his negative and turned it into positive this offseason. He’s publicly stated he’s working on improving his game in several areas and wants to be more ‘explosive’ on a few different levels.

A hungry Joe Burrow could be a problem for the entire AFC North.

Where does Joe Burrow land in PFF’s 2021 QB rankings?

Bengals QB Joe Burrow played just 10 games as a rookie last season, but still proved what LSU fans already knew – he’s the real deal.

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow played just 10 games as a rookie last season, but still proved what LSU fans already knew – he’s the real deal.

Burrow flashed his immense upside, which confirmed again what many already knew – he was worth being selected first overall in the 2020 NFL Draft.

[lawrence-related id=18526]

Burrow has the ability to not only be the face of the Bengals franchise, but also the ability to carry a team to a place the franchise hasn’t seen in quite some time.

The numbers and analytic data also suggests that Burrow is in fact, very good at playing quarterback in the NFL.

Pro Football Focus recently released their 2021 analytical quarterback rankings. Burrow is tied 13th among all NFL quarterbacks with an 80.5 overall grade. In just 10 games played, only 466 plays which is the smallest sample size of any quarterback graded.

To keep in simple, Burrow is widely viewed as a top-15 quarterback in the league, with just 10 starts to his name.

[vertical-gallery id=17953]

I’ve wrote about this too many times to count on one hand, but I’ll continue doing so because I like being right.

The hype around Burrow isn’t just smoke and excitement from the media.

It’s real, and deserving.

Burrow is worth the hype, and a year from now the conversation around the Bengals team could be quite different because of him.

WATCH: Joe Burrow looking mobile at Bengals’ minicamp

Could Joe Burrow somehow be even more mobile after his season-ending knee injury last season? Don’t rule it out, not with Burrow.

Joe Burrow’s return to the football field is something that all Bengals and LSU fans have been looking forward to.

Could Joe Burrow somehow be even more mobile after his season-ending knee injury last season? Don’t rule it out, not with Burrow.

And as NFL teams enter the mandatory minicamp phase of the NFL offseason, Burrow videos and clips are beginning to emerge.

Burrows mobility and overall health of his knee will be a big storyline in his sophomore season.

It’s very early, but what we’re seeing thus far from Burrow is extremely encouraging. He looks more than comfortable in his movement and while his knee may not yet be 100%, he certainly looks on schedule to be ready for week one.

Multiple reporters in Cincinnati state that Burrow and the Bengals staff repetitively worked on several rollout, bootleg plays.

Although Burrow’s been throwing and working on aspects of his game for a while now, this was easily the most mobile we’ve seen from him since he returned.

Burrow isn’t Lamar Jackson.

But he isn’t slow either.

Mobility and “explosiveness” is something Burrow is on record saying he’s working on this offseason.

It’s still early, but Bengals fans should be very encouraged watching these brief clips.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins surprised by Joe Burrow

During Bengals’ Tuesday practice, Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins was asked about the ‘extra zip’ that Burrow has been putting on his passes.

Bengals quarterback is on record in saying that he’s worked on his velocity and his playmaking ability throughout his rehab and offseason.

Well, it seems that his fellow teammates are taking notice.

During Bengals’ Tuesday practice, Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins was asked about the ‘extra zip’ that Burrow has been putting on his passes.

Higgins’ response was pretty remarkable.

[lawrence-related id=18326]

“He threw a slant and I was like ‘oh s***,’” Higgins told reporters.

“I don’t know what he’s been doing this offseason since he’s been hurt, but he came back way stronger,” Higgins said on Tuesday.

“The ball’s got a little bit more zip.”

It appears that what Burrow told us two months ago is pretty spot-on; he’s been working on aspects of his game that could make him that much more dangerous as a quarterback in the NFL.

Burrow threw a beautiful deep pass to Ja’Marr Chase, Higgins and a few other receivers on Tuesday, and it was quite the sight to see, according to reporters who watched the practice live.

Burrow’s return is one step forward for this Bengals offense.

But Burrow’s improvements make this offense that much more dangerous.

Tyler Boyd: Joe Burrow will take Bengals to ‘Promised Land’

In just one season, Burrow managed to gain the trust, respect, and belief from both the fans and his fellow teammates.

The hype and excitement in Cincinnati when Joe Burrow was selected first overall last year was real.

The buzz surrounding his return is very similar.

In just one season, Burrow not only managed to gain the respect and trust of Bengals nation. He also seems to have gained the beliefs of his teammates, not to LSU fans surprise.

[lawrence-related id=17997]

Bengals wide receiver Tyler Boyd recently spoke with Bengals.com’s Geoff Hobson. Boyd spoke highly of his quarterback:

“Nothing’s average about Joe. He’s going to lead us to the promised land.” Boyd said.

“Joe looks great. He looks like he’s ready to play a game right now. I’m not worried about Joe. He makes magic when his number’s called.” Boyd continued.

The Cincinnati Bengals don’t have high expectations heading into the 2021 NFL season.

Regardless of the outcome, Bengals fans should be ecstatic about the future of their franchise.

Because with Joe Burrow as your leader, good things will happen.
