Prediction

Thunder 115, Jazz 112

Moneyline (ML)

The THUNDER (-154) are in the middle of a hot streak as they have won 15 of their last 20 games and eight of their previous 10 contests. They have also won 18 of their last 19 regular-season home games against the Jazz. It’s a tough matchup for Utah (+130), so take the THUNDER TO WIN at home.

New to sports betting? A successful $10 bet on the Thunder to win would return a profit of $6.49.

Line/Against the Spread (ATS)

While the THUNDER (-2.5, -115) have been dominant over the last month in straight up, their record against the spread hasn’t been great. OKC has covered just twice in their last seven games and they’ve only covered three times in their last nine home contests. But the Jazz (+2.5, -106) haven’t been much better as they have only covered in two of their last 10 games. Given how small this spread is, don’t be afraid to pick the THUNDER TO WIN and for the THUNDER TO COVER in Oklahoma City.

Over/Under (O/U)

The total for this Western Conference matchup is set at 217.5 points, and that feels far too low despite how well each team has played on defense this season. While it’s true that both sides rank inside of the top 10 in scoring defense, each team is also averaging better than 110 points per game. Don’t expect this to be a high-scoring game, but take the OVER 217.5 (-115) to hit on Wednesday night.

Prediction

Lakers 115, Grizzlies 110

Moneyline (ML)

The Lakers (-715) are huge moneyline favorites over the Grizzlies (+500) on Friday night. The Lakers have been great at home this season, winning 18 of their 25 games at the Staples Center. However, the Grizzlies have not fared well on the road, going just 12-14 away from home this season. But despite the big odds for the Lakers, PASS on this moneyline bet as there just isn’t enough value on either side.

Line/Against the Spread (ATS)

The Lakers (-10.5) are double-digit favorites over the GRIZZLIES +10.5 (-106) on Friday night. While the Lakers have been one of the best teams in the entire NBA this season, they haven’t always done a great job of covering point spreads. They are just 13-11-1 against the spread at home this season. While Memphis is coming off a tough road loss to the Kings on Thursday night, expect them to keep this game close and cover the double-digit point spread.

Over/Under (O/U)

The point total for this Western Conference matchup is set at 234.5 points, which feels a bit high as the Grizzlies are playing in back-to-back road games. While both teams are averaging over 113 points per game, Los Angeles still has one of the top-ranked defenses in the NBA. Expect them to slow the pace down and for the UNDER (-110) to hit in Los Angeles on Friday

Prediction

Bucks 128, Wizards 115

Moneyline (ML)

The Bucks have been red-hot as of late, winning eight games in a row. They’ve looked almost unbeatable in that stretch, too, winning six of them by double-digits. The Wizards are 4-6 in their last 10 games and just allowed 152 points to the Hawks on Sunday.

This is a lopsided matchup, but it’s not worth putting anything on the moneyline. The Bucks moneyline is -2000, so it’s best to PASS here. Milwaukee should win, but it’s not worth the risk.

New to sports betting? A $10 wager on the Bucks returns a profit of $0.50.

Line/Against the Spread (ATS)

The Bucks are favored by 15.5 points on Tuesday, the largest spread of the night in the NBA. They’ve been double-digit favorites in each of their last five games but are only 2-3 against the spread in those games.

As good as the Bucks have been this season, they’re only 25-21 ATS this season, partly because the spreads have been so large in their favor. Washington will barely cover the spread, so take the WIZARDS (-106) with 15.5 points.

Over/Under (O/U)

The over/under is set at 240.5 points, which is a huge number. The Bucks rank first in the NBA in scoring (119.3 points per game), while the Wizards are fifth (115.3). The Over is only 21-23-2 in Bucks games this season, with the total going Under in four of their last six.

The Wizards’ lack of defense complicates things, with the total going Over in four of their last five. The Bucks are well-rested, too, having the last three days off. Bet the OVER 240.5 (-106).

Prediction

76ers 112, Thunder 107

Moneyline (ML)

The 76ERS (-334) are big moneyline favorites in this contest against the Thunder for obvious reasons. However, there are some reasons to avoid this line. The first is that the 76ers have been in a bit of a slump, losing four of straight and seven of 10. They have also lost 10 straight games to the Thunder at home, albeit that this is a far less-talented OKC team than in the past. While I like the 76ers to win this game, I’m avoiding the 76ers moneyline due to a lack of value.

New to sports betting? A $10 wager on the 7ers to win would return a profit of $2.99.

Line/Against the Spread (ATS)

The THUNDER (+8.5, -129) are moderate underdogs in this contest despite going 5-0 against the spread in their last five contests. They are arguably one of the biggest surprises in the NBA this season, going 23-12 ATS. With the 76ers still in a bit of a rut, the Thunder aren’t a bad bet as 8.5-point underdogs.

Over/Under (O/U)

The total for this matchup is set at 212.5 points, which feels about right considering the quality of these two defenses. However, the OVER (-115) seems like the right play here as it has hit in five straight games for the 76ers at home. Expect this to be a fast-paced game with the Thunder keeping it close in the fourth quarter.
