There is no secret to Spartan Nation who running back commit Audric Estime is. The product of St. Joseph Regional High School in Montvale, New Jersey gave his verbal commitment to the Spartans before his senior season started in early September. Since then, the running back has filled Spartan Nation’s Twitter feeds with huge games and crazy highlights, building up quite the hype train.

Estime was already a 4-star prospect according to the Rivals recruiting network but had yet to earn that honor with the 247Sports site or the composite rankings that 247Sports does, compiling the average rankings between the three recruiting ranking websites (247Sports, Rivals and ESPN). 247Sports re-ranked the class of 2021 recruits this past week which saw Audric Estime receive his fourth star in both 247 and the composite rankings.

The now 4-star running back has been tearing it up all season long for the Green Knights, truly having a breakout campaign. Estime has carried the ball 127 times totaling 1,336 yards and finding the endzone 17 times. That is an astounding 10.5 yards per carry and 222.7 yards per game over the six games this season.

Audric will make his way to campus in the fall of 2021, where Spartans hope he will be the next man in the long line of greats at running back that have come through East Lansing.

Take a look at how some of the commits in Michigan State’s 2021 recruiting class performed this past weekend.

We have eclipsed the first Friday in November, in what may be the wildest year high school football has ever seen. Some of Michigan State’s commits are still in their regular season, while others are competing in their state playoffs.

Michigan State has added 19 commits to its 2021 recruiting class and as their senior seasons unfold they are giving Spartan nation reasons to be excited about what the future of Michigan State Football has to offer.

Let’s take a look at some of the highlights the 2021 class had this past week.

The second highest-rated player in Michigan State’s 2021 recruiting class is 4-star running back Audric Estime out of St. Joseph Regional High School in Montvale, New Jersey. Estime is an absolute bruiser on the field who is known for being a strong runner, and he showed that off on Friday as he absolutely steamrolled multiple defenders on his way to a 30 yard gain.

St. Joseph, which is where another 4-star MSU commit in offensive guard Geno VanDeMark plays, played St. Peter’s Prep on Friday, and you can see below as Estime has almost the entire defense fail to take him down.

Antonio Gates Jr. wasn’t the only Spartan recruit to have a good weekend on the field.  A 2021 4-Star running back commit had a day to remember on Saturday.

Audric Estime, a 5’11 210-pound running back from Montvale, New Jersey, ran for 304 yards and had four touchdowns in an impressive showing for St. Joseph’s.  Estime is ranked by Rivals as 10th ranked running back and 5th overall player in the state of New Jersey for the class of 2021.

Estime just committed to Michigan State last month. Estime is tied as the highest ranked commit on Rivals with Charles Brantley, and fellow New Jersey native Geno VanDeMark.  But, his national ranking has slipped in the past year.  Back in August 2019, he was ranked 171st in the nation and now he is ranked 215th.  This game should be a big confidence boost to himself, and prove that his ranking should be higher.

Check out some of the highlights from his game below:

Estime is a huge addition to a 2021 recruiting class that needed to land a few more heavy hitters. Estime is the No. 4 ranked player in New Jersey for 2021 by the 247Sports rankings and the No. 22 ranked running back in that class. He currently plays for St. Joseph Regional High School in Montvale, New Jersey with his teammate and fellow MSU commit Geno VanDeMark.

Estime was also heavily recruited by Arizona State, Rutgers, Iowa, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Maryland, Pitt, Minnesota, and many others.

Four-star offensive lineman Geno VanDeMark commits to Michigan State

Michigan State lands four-star prospect from New Jersey.

Mel Tucker is in a Garden State of mind.

The first-year head coach at Michigan State has landed another New Jersey product in the form of four-star offensive lineman Geno VanDeMark.

VanDeMark chose MSU over a final group off Rutgers, Arizona State, Nebraska, and Ole Miss. His recruitment totaled 17 offers from power five teams across the country.

VanDeMark joins fellow offensive lineman Kevin Wiggenton as MSU commits out of New Jersey. VanDeMark’s high school teammate, running back Audric Estime, could very well be the third as MSU is favored to land the four-star power back.

VanDeMark, who hails from Montvale, NJ, is rated as the No. 18 guard and No. 317 prospect overall in the class of 2021 per the 247 composite rankings.  He has mostly played tackle in high school, but projects to kick inside to guard in college. VanDeMark immediately slots in as MSU’s highest-ranked player in the 2021 class and the first consensus four-star prospect of Tucker’s tenure in East Lansing.

Prior to VanDeMark’s pledge, MSU’s 2021 recruiting class ranked No. 73 in the country and No. 13 in the Big Ten.
