The Detroit Lions Week 6 opponent, the Jacksonville Jaguars, have released their injury designations for Sunday’s game.

The Detroit Lions Week 6 opponent, the Jacksonville Jaguars, have released their designations report ahead of the game and five players are listed as questionable, including four starters.

Here’s a look at the Jaguars’ full injury designations list.

Ruled OUT

No Jaguars’ players have been ruled out at this time, but they have downgraded players to out on Saturday in the past.

Questionable

Player Position Injury Designation
Josh Allen EDGE Knee Questionable
DJ Chark Jr. WR Ankle Questionable
Tyler Eifert TE Neck Questionable
Arby Jones DT Ankle/Hamstring Questionable
Dakota Allen LB Foot Questionable

Josh Allen is one of the best players on the Jaguars team and his absence last week was noticeable. He looked close to returning the last game but was downgraded to out on Saturday. With limited practices again this week, his availability looks 50/50 at this time.

Chark was injured in Week 5, left the game, and was unable to return. He didn’t practice Wednesday or Thursday but return limited on Friday. If he is unable to play, the Jaguars would miss his speed in the starting lineup and he would likely be replaced by Chris Conley or rookie Collin Johnson.

If Eifert is unable to play or is limited, the Jaguars would turn to James O’Shaughnessy to pick up more snaps at tight end.

Jones is the Jaguars starting nose tackle and went from a limited practice on Wednesday to no practice on Thursday, which is typically not a good sign for his availability. If he can’t go, rookie Davon Hamilton will likely take his place next to Taven Bryan on the defensive interior.

Dakota Allen also missed practices this week, which could create a depth issue at linebacker for the Jaguars. They do return Myles Jack to the starting lineup — Allen had been repping in his place — but the team also cut Cassius Marsh this week in order to make room for Kamalei Correa, who may not be up to speed and able to contribute significant snaps.

No injury designation

Player Position Injury Designation
Myles Jack LB Ankle No Injury Designation
C.J. Henderson CB Shoulder No Injury Designation
Laviska Shenault Jr. WR Hamstring No Injury Designation
Daniel Ekuale DT Ankle No Injury Designation
Chris Claybrooks CB Quad No Injury Designation

Jack and Henderson missed last week and their return to the field will be a much-needed boost for the Jaguars. Both linebacker and corner are banged up spots and they could really use their starters getting back on the field.

Shenault missed Wednesday’s practice, was limited Thursday, and not listed with an injury designation on Friday. He should be good to go and will have to be someone the Lions defense keys on, as he is a versatile weapon on offense.
