Taylor Swift fans think this Bengals touchdown celebration might have been why they lost

The Swifties noticed Andre Iosivas’s celebration immediately.

The Kansas City Chiefs needed a last-second field goal to squeak out a win against the visiting Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday afternoon.

It was a back-and-forth affair, with multiple lead changes and two ties, and pop star Taylor Swift went through all the emotions over the course of the game.

Swift, who has been dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce for over a year, was in attendance for the Week 2 matchup, and may have noticed something familiar in a Bengals touchdown celebration in the second quarter. Cincinnati wide receiver Andre Iosivas made an impressive catch to break a 3-3 tie.

Iosivas then did an archer pose three times, mimicking Kelce’s pre-game ritual. But it is also a move that Swift has done on her Eras Tour, both as a nod to her song “The Archer” and to Kelce.

Swifties immediately pointed out that Iosivas’s potential trolling of Kelce and/or Swift could lead to the same “Tayvoodoo” that took down the Buffalo Bills and the Baltimore Ravens last season after those fanbases talked trash about the 14-time Grammy winner.

Seems karma is still the “guy on the Chiefs.”

Joe Burrow comment after Andrei Iosivas breakout says it all about team’s future

Joe Burrow had some kind word after Andrei Iosivas breakout that says a lot about his future with the team.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas was a name to watch entering the season.

So far, he is on his way to becoming a household name, especially once they learn how to pronounce it (yo-SHE-vas). He may have only had two catches Sunday against the Chiefs, but they were two huge catches. He was in the end zone both times. He finished with just seven yards but two touchdowns. That’s still 14 points in fantasy points-per-reception leagues.

What it also shows is that Iosivas is going to be a part of the Bengals going forward, especially in the future. Tee Higgins is a free agent after the season and with Jermaine Burton also getting in the mix, it’s possible Iosivas could essentially become Higgins’ replacement in 2025.

Comments by quarterback Joe Burrow furthered fueled talk that Iosivas is going to be an important part of the Bengals’ future.

“He’s done nothing for me to not trust him,” Burrow said, via the Bengals’ official website. “All he does is make plays in big spots and continue to get better and better, practice really hard, and we love what he’s doing. He’s going to continue to be a big part of what we’re doing here.”

Iosivas only had 25 targets all of 2023 as a rookie third-rounder out of Princeton. He already has ten targets through two games in 2024. He caught 15 passes for 116 yards and four touchdowns last season. He has five catches for 33 yards and two touchdowns after two weeks this season. He’s already building more trust with Burrow and that connection will only get stronger.

Bengals breakout candidate requested HOF-level film to improve his game

This Bengals player is doing the right things to help a breakout happen.

The Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver room has been one of the better groups in the league for the past few years with Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd leading the way.

Now with Chase’s current status up in the air, Higgins possibly leaving after the season ends and Boyd already gone in free agency, there are some targets – now and in the future – to go around from Joe Burrow.

Andre Iosivas, who the Bengals drafted in 2023, wants to be the guy to earn those, and he has apparently been looking toward one of the all-time great wide receivers to try to improve his game after he made the move to the slot in training camp.

Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic wrote that Iosivas has been requesting film of Larry Fitzgerald and Keenan Allen, two players who are of similar stature to the 6-3, 205-pound slot receiver, from the Bengals video staff.

“Guys in the slot that have been Hall of Fame guys, and also (Tyler Boyd),” Iosivas said to The Athletic. “Keenan and Larry are both bigger dudes, if I can play to that skill set and see what works for them, I can try to incorporate it into my game as well.”

In 16 appearances last season, Iosivas had 15 catches for 116 yards and four touchdowns, but now he is going to have a chance to break out in what should be a strong Bengals offense, and he is going to the right places to look for tips.

Cardinals met virtually with Princeton WR Andre Iosivas

The 6-foot-3 receiver with sprinter speed has had virtual meetings with the Cardinals.

The Arizona Cardinals continue to prepare for the NFL draft at the end of April and have been meeting with player prospects to add to their evaluations.

While wide receiver might not be a major priority in the draft this year, they are looking at players at that position.

One receiver with whom the Cardinals have met with virtually is Princeton receiver Andre Iosivas. Iosivas told The Draft Network’s Justin Melo he “hopped on several meetings with the Jets, Texans and Cardinals.”

He had not yet sorted out his in-person schedule.

Iosivas has size and speed. He is 6-foot-3, weighs 205 pounds and ran the 40-yard dash in 4.43 seconds at the NFL combine at the beginning of March. He added a 6.85-second three-cone, a 39-inch vertical leap and 10-foot-8 broad jump.

He had 66 receptions for 943 yards and seven touchdowns in 2022.

He also ran track as a sprinter for Princeton.

Senior Bowl: Tyler’s top 10 performers this week

After a grueling week of practice, @TheRealForno breaks down his top-10 performers from the Senior Bowl

The 2023 Senior Bowl has finished up the practice portion of the week and it was a great one.

Practice usually stands out in multiple ways, especially considering the unique nature of practice. It’s a lot of individual drills that help players standout by focusing on the things that each position prioritizes.

During practice, there were a lot of players that stood out, but 10 stood out more than the rest. Here are my top 10 players from practice this week.
