Vegas Golden Knights at Anaheim Ducks odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Wednesday’s Vegas Golden Knights at Anaheim Ducks odds and lines, with NHL expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Vegas Golden Knights (24-12-1) meet the Anaheim Ducks (9-22-4) at Honda Center Wednesday. Puck drop is scheduled for 10 p.m. ET (ESPN+). Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Golden Knights vs. Ducks odds, and make our expert NHL picks and predictions.

The Golden Knights were doubled up 4-2 by the Los Angeles Kings Tuesday in the front end of the Southern California 2-game road trip. That snapped a modest 2-game win streak. VGK has still won 4 of its last 5 games on the road.

The Ducks were dumped 3-2 in overtime at home against the Calgary Flames Friday as they continue to struggle offensively. The Ducks have lit the lamp just 4 times across the past 3 outings, cashing the Under in each contest.

  • Moneyline (ML): Golden Knights -190 (bet $190 to win $100) | Ducks +160 (bet $100 to win $160)
  • Puck line (PL)/Against the spread (ATS): Golden Knights -1.5 (+130) | Ducks +1.5 (-160)
  • Over/Under (O/U): 6.5 (O: +100 | U: -120)

Golden Knights at Ducks projected goalies

Adin Hill (8-3-1, 2.66 GAA, .903 SV%) vs. John Gibson (5-14-3, 3.99 GAA, .896 SV%)

Hill allowed 3 goals on 18 shots last time out against the Buffalo Sabres in a 3-2 home loss on Dec. 19. He is still an impressive 3-1-0 with a 2.49 GAA and .905 SV% in 4 starts in December.

Gibson has been sidelined since Dec. 13 due to a lower-body injury, but the team returned G Olle Eriksson Ek to San Diego of the AHL, signaling his return. He allowed 4 goals on just 18 shots in a 4-0 loss in Vegas on Oct. 28 in his only previous meeting against the Golden Knights this season.

Golden Knights at Ducks picks and predictions

Prediction

Golden Knights 3, Ducks 1

Moneyline

The Golden Knights (-190) will cost you nearly 2 times your potential return, and that’s a little too expensive given the fact they were dropped in Los Angeles Tuesday, and now are starting their backup goaltender.

PASS.

Puck line/Against the spread

The GOLDEN KNIGHTS -1.5 (+130) are worth a look on the puck line, mainly because the Ducks have had a rough time finding the back of the net lately.

VGK has received solid play from Hill in December, despite the fact he lost last time out. Anaheim won’t be able to solve him as its offensive struggles will continue.

Over/Under

UNDER 6.5 (-120) is the best play on the board.

While the Over is 4-0 in the previous 4 meetings between these teams in Anaheim — and it’s 5-2 in the past 7 overall in the series — play the Under. The Ducks are averaging 1.33 GPG across the past 3 outings, and the Under is 7-3 in their past 10 home games.

Minnesota Wild at Anaheim Ducks odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Wednesday’s Minnesota Wild at Anaheim Ducks odds and lines, with NHL expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Minnesota Wild (5-6-1) and Anaheim Ducks (4-8-0) meet Wednesday at Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. Puck drop is scheduled for 10 p.m. ET (TNT). Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Wild vs. Ducks odds, and make our expert NHL picks and predictions.

The Wild were on the short end of a 1-0 road loss against the Los Angeles Kings Tuesday in the front end of a back-to-back SoCal set. Minnesota will be looking to get back on track against a team it has owned recently, winning 10 straight in the series.

The Ducks have dropped 4 straight meetings at home against the Wild. However, they’re a respectable 3-2-0 in the past 5 games overall, scoring at least 3 goals in each outing, with the Over going 5-0 during the stretch.

Wild at Ducks projected goalies

Filip Gustavsson (0-3-0, 3.93 GAA, .878 SV%) vs. John Gibson (2-7-1, 4.52 GAA, .887 SV%)

Gustavsson has lost all 3 of his appearances so far, although he yielded a season-low 2 goals on 25 shots in his most recent outing Oct. 29 at the Detroit Red Wings. In his only outing against the Pacific Division, Gustavsson yielded 3 goals on 20 shots in a loss against the Los Angeles Kings Oct. 15.

Gibson has been tagged for 11 goals in 2 starts in November, going 0-2-0 with a 5.58 GAA and .882 SV%. He has conceded at least 3 goals in 6 straight appearances, and 8 of his 9 outings overall.

Wild at Ducks picks and predictions

Prediction

Wild 4, Ducks 2

Moneyline

The WILD (-175) are a little on the expensive side, especially with a backup goaltender. In addition, Minnesota has some risk since it was shutout fewer than 24 hours ago. It has actually been blanked in consecutive outings.

However, the Wild scored 4 goals in a pair of wins in the two games prior and they had 3 scored or more goals in each of their first 7 outings — they’re offensively capable.

Puck line/Against the spread

The WILD -1.5 (+133) are worth a roll of the dice after getting blanked in Los Angeles and at home to the Seattle Kraken. You could be concerned, but at the same time, you can also look at it as the offense is due for a breakout.

Despite the fact Minnesota has been blanked, it’s still averaging a healthy 25.6% power-play percentage, ranking 8th in the NHL.

Minnesota has won by 2 or more goals and covered the puck line in 3 of its last 4 wins.

Over/Under

UNDER 6.5 (-115) is the lean, but play it lightly.

Gibson has been very giving this season, and Gustavsson has yet to win in 3 turns.

The Under has cashed in 6 of the past 7 outings for the Wild, while the Ducks have hit the Over in 5 in a row. This won’t be a 1-0 game like Minnesota had in L.A. Tuesday, but this won’t be a fire-wagon game with a ton of goals, either.

Tampa Bay Lightning at Anaheim Ducks odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Wednesday’s Tampa Bay Lightning at Anaheim Ducks odds and lines, with NHL expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Tampa Bay Lightning (3-4-0) and Anaheim Ducks (1-4-1) meet Wednesday at Honda Center. Puck drop is scheduled for 10 p.m. ET (TNT). Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Lightning vs. Ducks odds, and make our expert NHL picks and predictions.

The Lightning suffered a 4-2 loss at the Los Angeles Kings Tuesday, snapping a 10-game win streak in the series. LW Brandon Hagel and RW Nikita Kucherov each had an unassisted goal, but it wasn’t enough to bail out G Andrei Vasilevskiy, who allowed 4 markers on 33 shots.

After topping the Seattle Kraken in the regular-season opener, the Ducks have picked up just one point out of a possible 10 during an 0-4-1 slide. That includes a 5-1 loss at the Detroit Red Wings last time out on Sunday.

Lightning at Ducks projected goalies

Brian Elliott (1-1-0, 4.04 GAA, .899 SV%) vs. John Gibson (1-3-1, 4.52 GAA, .892 SV%)

Elliott will be tasked with starting the second end of the SoCal back-to-back. He has allowed 8 goals on 79 shots through 2 starts to date, losing his only road outing at the Pittsburgh Penguins Oct. 15.

Gibson has been very giving to date, yielding 5 or more goals in 3 of his past 4 starts, and 4 or more goals in 4 of his 5 outings overall. However, he won his only previous start at home on Oct. 12 against Seattle.

Lightning at Ducks picks and predictions

Prediction

Lightning 5, Ducks 3

Moneyline

The LIGHTNING (-155) have the quick turnaround after suffering the 4-2 loss in Los Angeles Tuesday. During the team’s championship run in recent years, the Lightning have rebounded quickly, especially in games they should win. Tampa Bay is 36-17 in the second end of a back-to-back situation, and there is little doubt it will rebound nicely here.

Puck line/Against the spread

The LIGHTNING -1.5 (+150) are worth playing lightly here.

Tampa Bay should enjoy a nice bounce back after suffering the setback in L.A. While there are concerns with its backup goaltender between the pipes, teams have gotten to Gibson early and often, and Wednesday is likely to be no exception for the Anaheim veteran backstop.

Over/Under

OVER 6.5 (-108) might be the best play on the board.

Elliott and Gibson each have GAAs north of 4, and while it’s not much of a sample size, it’s been enough. Gibson has been awful out of the gates, and Elliott has been giving in his 2 outings. It won’t take much effort to get to at least 7 goals here.

Anaheim Ducks at New Jersey Devils odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Tuesday’s Anaheim Ducks at New Jersey Devils odds and lines, with NHL expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Anaheim Ducks (1-2-0) head east to face the New Jersey Devils (0-2-0) Tuesday at Prudential Center. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET (ESPN+). Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Ducks vs. Devils odds, and make our expert NHL picks and predictions.

The Ducks opened the season with a 5-4 winner in overtime against the Seattle Kraken. However, they have been demolished 7-1 and 6-4 by the New York Islanders and New York Rangers, respectively, in the 2 games since. This is the 3rd of a 5-game road trip and, needless to say, they can’t wait to get back home.

New Jersey dropped its first 2 games of the season by identical scores of 5-2 against the Philadelphia Flyers and Detroit Red Wings. The Devils open the season with 5 games against non-playoff teams from last year, and they look to hit their stride Tuesday night.

Ducks at Devils projected goalies

Anthony Stolarz (12-8-3, 2.67 GAA, .917 SV%, 3 SO in 2021-22) vs. Vitek Vanecek (0-1-0, 5.00 GAA, .773 SV%, 0 SO)

Stolarz has seen action in 2 games and stopped 17 of 20 shots for a 6.00 GAA, but this will be his first start of the season. He was solid between the pipes in 28 games (23 starts) last season with a 2.67 GAA. The New Jersey native suffered a shootout loss against the Devils last year after stopping 39 of 40 shots.

Vanecek took the loss to the Red Wings in his first start, allowing 5 goals on 22 shots. He came over from Washington in the offseason, where he was 20-12-6 with a 2.67 GAA and .908 SV% and operating as the starter going into the playoffs. Vanecek took an overtime loss to the Ducks last year after stopping 28 of 31 shots.

Ducks at Devils picks and predictions

Prediction

Devils 3, Ducks 2

Moneyline

Jersey is a pretty heavy favorite on home ice, but Anaheim can score. Ducks C Troy Terry has 3 goals and 3 assists on the young season. The Devils are still a youthful team trying to gel together, but Vanecek in net provides the stability for them to get it done on home ice. There’s no chance I’m throwing -190 at NJ, but I’ll take DEVILS IN REGULATION (-125).

Puck line/Against the spread

The Ducks have been smoked in 2 straight games out east, and they’ll play a tighter game. If they’re able to light the lamp 3 times or more, their chances of stealing this one increase heavily. I think it’ll be a closer game, but the Devils ultimately get their first win, but there is probably value in DUCKS +1.5 (-150) but pass if it gets any pricier.

Over/Under

All 5 games combined for the respective teams have gone Over this total, and I expect things to tighten up. These teams haven’t hit 7 goals in 5 straight games against one another. Anaheim is using its backup, but he has been serviceable in the past. I’ll take the UNDER 6.5 (-117) before it drops to 5.5.

Anaheim Ducks at New York Rangers odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Monday’s Anaheim Ducks at New York Rangers odds and lines, with NHL expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Anaheim Ducks (1-1-0) visit the Big Apple to face the New York Rangers (2-1-0) Monday for a 7 p.m. ET faceoff. Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Ducks vs. Rangers odds, and make our expert NHL picks and predictions.

The Ducks are coming off a 7-1 drubbing at the New York Islanders Saturday. They won their opener Wednesday in a 5-4 OT squeaker at home vs. the Seattle Kraken.

The Rangers’ last game was also a loss – a 4-1 setback at the Winnipeg Jets Friday. They won their first 2 games of the season, starting with 3-1 vs. the visiting Tampa Bay Lightning Tuesday followed by 7-3 at the Minnesota Wild Thursday.

Ducks at Rangers projected goalies

John Gibson (1-1-0, 5.35 GAA, .880 SV%) vs. Igor Shesterkin (2-0-0, 2.02 GAA, .935 SV%)

Gibson started both of the Ducks first 2 games. He has 66 saves on 75 shots, played the entire game against Seattle and was pulled after the 2nd period vs. the Islanders after getting into a 5-0 hole.

Shesterkin started both of the Rangers’ wins, allowing 4 goals on 62 shots in 119 combined minutes. He was given a night off after Thursday’s win in Minnesota as G Jaroslav Halak started in Friday’s loss at Winnipeg.

Ducks at Rangers picks and predictions

Prediction

Rangers 4, Ducks 2

Moneyline

AVOID.

The Rangers (-250) will come away with the win here to move to 3-1 on the season. While I am very confident in this pick, I would not recommend betting a moneyline when a team is this heavily favored.

Puck line/Against the spread

BET RANGERS -1.5 (+102).

As mentioned, the Rangers should get a win here and I believe they’ll do so by a comfortable margin.

The Ducks have shown that they will allow a high amount of goals, yielding 11 in their first 2 games. The Rangers have proven that they can score at will vs. a worse team, and they did vs. Minnesota.

Expect the Rangers to pile on points in this matchup and expect their defense to hold the Ducks. RANGERS -1.5 (+102) is my BEST BET.

Over/Under

BET OVER 5.5 (-135).

I expect the Over to be met because of the Rangers’ offensive ability, and the Ducks’ lack of defense. While this bet isn’t as strong as the ATS, I do have a good amount of confidence in this one as well. The Ducks are not on the same level as the Rangers and I expect the home team to prove that Monday.

Seattle Kraken at Anaheim Ducks odds, picks and predictions

Analyzing Wednesday’s Seattle Kraken at Anaheim Ducks odds and lines, with NHL expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Seattle Kraken and Anaheim Ducks open their seasons Wednesday at the Honda Center. Puck drop is scheduled for 10 p.m. ET (ESPN+). Below, we analyze Tipico Sportsbook’s lines around the Kraken vs. Ducks, and make our expert NHL picks and predictions.

The Kraken finished 8th in the Pacific Division last season with a 27-49-6 record. This year’s No. 4 overall pick C Shane Wright has made Seattle’s roster to start the season and should provide Kraken fans with optimism for the future alongside top prospect C Matty Beniers.

Beniers is the favorite to win the Calder Memorial Trophy at +380.

The Ducks finished 7th in the Pacific Division last season with a 31-37-14 record. Anaheim will need a lot of production from their young players this season; including 21-year-old C Trevor Zegras who finished 2nd on the Ducks with 61 points (23 goals, 38 assists) last season and 2021’s No. 3 overall pick C Mason McTavish.

McTavish has the 2nd-best odds to win the Calder Memorial Trophy at +480.

Kraken at Ducks projected goalies

Philipp Grubauer (18-31-5, 3.16 GAA, .889 SV% in 2021-2022) vs. John Gibson (18-26-11, 3.19 GAA, .904 SV% in 2021-2022)

Grubauer faced the Ducks twice last season, going 0-2-0 while allowing 8 goals on 52 shots, good for a 4.91 GAA and .846 SV%.

Gibson faced the Kraken twice last season, going 1-1-0 while allowing 8 goals on 52 shots, good for a 4.03 GAA and .846 SV%.

Kraken at Ducks picks and predictions

Prediction

Kraken 4, Ducks 3

Moneyline

SEATTLE (+105) won the last head-to-head meeting 4-3 in Anaheim on Feb. 11, and they should win again in this spot. I project the Kraken to be a better team than Anaheim this season and they start with a win in their season opener.

Puck line/Against the spread

PASS.

Seattle +1.5 (-250) is too expensive to bet, especially this early in the season when there are so many question marks. The ML and the total provide better opportunities that will contribute to long-term winning.

Over/Under

OVER 5.5 (-125) is worth a bet as both of these goalies struggled in the head-to-head meetings last season. The Over was 4-1 in Seattle’s final 5 road games last season and 3-0-1 in Anaheim’s final 4 games last season.

San Jose Sharks at Anaheim Ducks odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Tuesday’s San Jose Sharks at Anaheim Ducks odds and lines, with NHL expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The San Jose Sharks (22-22-4) travel to meet the Anaheim Ducks (24-19-9) Tuesday at Honda Center. Puck drop is scheduled for 10 p.m. ET (ESPN+). Below, we look at the Sharks vs. Ducks odds and lines, and make our expert NHL picks, predictions and bets.

The Sharks are in a six-game tailspin, including three losses in regulation and three setbacks in overtime dating back to Jan. 26. San Jose has won four of the past five trips to Anaheim, and the road team is 5-0 in the past five in this series.

The Ducks are also struggling mightily, going 1-4 in the past five games overall, 1-5 in the past six inside the division and 1-10 in the previous 11 games against Western Conference teams.

Sharks at Ducks projected goalies

James Reimer (13-11-4, 2.91 GAA, .913 SV%, 1 SO) vs. John Gibson (16-13-8, 2.77 GAA, .913 SV%, 1 SO)

Reimer is winless across his past six starts, and he is 0-2-2 with a 3.51 GAA and .840 SV% in four starts in the month of February, allowing at least three goals in each of the outings.

Gibson picked up a win last time out at Vancouver Saturday, but he is just 1-3-0 with a 5.51 GAA and .824 SV% in four February outings, yielding at least four goals in each of the starts.

Sharks at Ducks odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Sharks 4, Ducks 3

Money line

The SHARKS (+122) are worth a look in this road outing as San Jose looks to snap a six-game winless streak. Facing the Ducks (-150) might just be what the doctor ordered as San Jose is 4-1 in the past five skates on The Pond in Anaheim. The road team has cashed in five straight in this series, too.

Against the spread

The Sharks +1.5 (-205) will cost you over two times your potential return if you would like a little insurance, and that’s just too steep of a price.

PASS, and focus on the money line.

Over/Under

OVER 5.5 (-125) is the way to go here as both netminders have been extremely giving lately. Yes, the Under is 5-1-1 in the past seven meetings, but sometimes trends are made to be broken. The Over has hit in four straight for the Ducks, and that is expected to continue against Reimer. Gibson has allowed 19 goals across four February starts, so the Sharks offense should find plenty of blood in the water here.

Anaheim Ducks at Edmonton Oilers odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Thursday’s Anaheim Ducks at Edmonton Oilers odds and lines, with NHL expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Anaheim Ducks (23-18-9) travel to meet the Edmonton Oilers (26-18-3) Thursday at Rogers Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Ducks vs. Oilers odds and lines, and make our expert NHL picks, predictions and bets.

The Ducks were manhandled 6-2 in Calgary Wednesday in the front end of the Alberta two-step. G John Gibson coughed up 4 goals on 20 shots and was lifted in the second period.

The Oilers have picked up three straight victories, including a pair of road wins in California Monday and Tuesday. Edmonton won 5-2 behind Mike Smith in Los Angeles last time out, a rare Over after four Under results.

Ducks at Oilers projected goalies

Anthony Stolarz (7-5-1, 2.73 GAA, .919 SV%, 2 SO) vs. Mike Smith (4-4-1, 3.34 GAA, .904 SV%)

Stolarz came on in the second period last night in place of Gibson after he allowed 4 goals in 28 minutes. Stolarz allowed just 1 goal on 22 shots in his relief appearance.

Smith has won consecutive starts against the New York Islanders and at the Los Angeles Kings as he allowed just 3 totals goals on 70 shots. He has given the Oilers some much-needed solid goaltending.

Ducks at Oilers odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Oilers 5, Ducks 3

Money line

The Oilers (-230) will cost you more than two times your potential return, and that’s just too expensive even if they have been playing a lot better recently.

PASS.

Against the spread

The OILERS -1.5 (+110) are a much better value at plus-money laying the goal and a half on the puck line. Edmonton has won by 2 or more goals in each of its wins during the current three-game streak, and each of its five victories dating back to Jan. 29.

Over/Under

OVER 6.5 (-115) is the best bet in this Western Conference battle. The Over hasn’t been a regular occurrence lately for the Oil, but Edmonton has scored 3 or more goals in each of its last three outings, and in eight of its last 11 games.

The Over hit in a 6-5 Oilers win Oct. 19 in the first meeting between these sides, too.

Detroit Red Wings at Anaheim Ducks odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Thursday’s Detroit Red Wings at Anaheim Ducks odds, picks and prediction odds and lines, with NHL expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Detroit Red Wings (16-15-3) travel to meet the Anaheim Ducks (18-11-4) Thursday at Honda Center. Puck drop is scheduled for 10 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Red Wings vs. Ducks odds and lines, and make our expert NHL picks, predictions and bets.

The Red Wings snapped a two-game losing skid with an emphatic 6-2 victory Tuesday against the San Jose Sharks behind Alex Nedeljkovic. The 6-goal outburst tied a season-best.

The Ducks posted a 4-1 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers Tuesday as they snapped an 0-2-2 slide dating back to Dec. 15. The Under is 3-0-1 across their last four outings.

Red Wings at Ducks projected goalies

Alex Nedeljkovic (10-8-3, 2.85 GAA, .914 SV%) vs. John Gibson (12-9-6, 2.64 GAA, .917 SV%, 1 SO)

Nedeljkovic allowed just 2 goals on 26 shots in a 6-2 victory over the Sharks Tuesday, bouncing back from an ugly showing in a loss against the Boston Bruins in his previous outing.

Gibson allowed just 1 goal on 29 shots against the Flyers, snapping a five-game winless stretch dating back to Dec. 9. He is 7-3-3 with a 2.21 GAA and .925 SV% with 1 shutout at home this season.

Red Wings at Ducks odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Ducks 3, Red Wings 2

Money line

The DUCKS (-145) are worth a look at home, although this should be a very competitive game. Gibson has been money at Honda Center, and the Red Wings have won just two of their previous seven skates on “The Pond” in Anaheim. Back the home side.

Against the spread

The Red Wings +1.5 (-190) isn’t terribly out of line if you want a little insurance, although each of Detroit’s last six losses has been by 2 or more goals. If you don’t like them to win you shouldn’t like them to keep it within one goal, either.

AVOID.

Over/Under

UNDER 5.5 (-125) is the lean here despite the fact the Red Wings have hit plenty of Overs lately.

The trends for the Ducks drive this Under train, especially since Anaheim is at home. The Under is 3-0-1 in its last four games overall, and 5-1 in its last six as a favorite. The Under is also 18-7-2 in the last 27 following a straight-up win for the Red Wings.

Seattle Kraken at Anaheim Ducks odds, picks and prediction

Analyzing Wednesday’s Seattle Kraken at Anaheim Ducks odds and lines, with NHL expert picks, predictions and best bets.

The Seattle Kraken (10-15-3) visit the Anaheim Ducks (16-9-5) Wednesday at Honda Center. Puck drop is scheduled for 10 p.m. ET. Below, we look at the Kraken vs. Ducks odds and lines, and make our expert NHL picks, predictions and bets.

The Kraken picked up a 3-1 win on the road against the San Jose Sharks Tuesday, and now have the quick turnaround with no rest. In the early days of the franchise, Seattle is 1-2 in the second end of a back-to-back set so far.

The Ducks roughed up Seattle 7-4 Nov. 11 in the first-ever meeting at Climate Pledge Arena. The Ducks have won three of their past four games overall, and have just one loss in regulation across the previous eight games dating back to Nov. 28.

Kraken at Ducks projected goalies

Philipp Grubauer (7-11-3, 3.25 GAA, .884 SV%) vs. Anthony Stolarz (5-2-1, 2.26 GAA, .930 SV%, 2 SO)

Grubauer hasn’t won in his last three starts, and he has allowed 3 or more goals in each of his past six appearances. He was also in the crease for the Nov. 11 loss against the Ducks, coughing up 5 goals on 34 shots.

Stolarz has allowed just 2 goals across his past two starts and three appearances over 142:10, and he has won five straight starts dating back to Nov. 5.

Kraken at Ducks odds, lines, picks and predictions

Prediction

Ducks 3, Kraken 1

Money line

The DUCKS (-155) are a decent play as moderate favorites as the Kraken face the quick turnaround after a solid 3-1 win in San Jose. Seattle has never won back-to-back games in a two-day span, and it’s not going to happen on this night, either.

Against the spread

The DUCKS -1.5 (+155) is worth a small-unit play at this price. The Kraken are flying high after a win Tuesday. But we’ll see a Seattle team with heavy legs facing a suffocating defense and solid goaltending.

Over/Under

UNDER 5.5 (+100) is the play. The Kraken have averaged just 2.0 goals per game across the past four outings. The Ducks have scored 7 goals while allowing 4 in the previous four outings, hitting the Under in each contest. Look for a defensive battle in SoCal.
