Thursday certainly was an exciting day for the fans of the Alabama football program.

Alabama offensive coordinator [autotag]Bill O’Brien[/autotag] interviewed for the same position with New England Patriots. He is now expected to eventually land the role with his old boss, Bill Belichick.

Tide fans have made their feelings about O’Brien known over the past couple of seasons, so it appears they will be getting their wish and a new coordinator will soon take over in Tuscaloosa.

Good morning, Tide fans! Welcome back to another Monday edition of Alabama Morning Drive where we do our best to bring you the latest news and notes involving the Alabama Crimson Tide.

It was a busy weekend for the student-athletes in Tuscaloosa and for the most part, the results were in favor of the Crimson Tide.

Among the events over the weekend were swim and dive meets, women’s gymnastics, men’s basketball, and women’s basketball.

Although the swim and dive meets were unsuccessful for both the men’s and women’s teams, they did honor a total of 11 seniors and six graduate students in the final home competition of the 2022-23 season.

Alabama basketball leads the way for an action-packed weekend for Alabama athletics.

Good morning, Tide fans and welcome back to our Friday edition of Alabama Morning Drive. I hope everyone has had a great week as we enter the weekend.

The University of Alabama’s athletics will buzz this weekend with events and [autotag]Nate Oats[/autotag] and the No. 4 Alabama men’s basketball team will lead the way when they take on LSU inside Coleman Coliseum on Saturday afternoon.

Alabama is playing about as good as anyone in the country and with a win over the Tigers this weekend, they could be pushing for a possible No. 1 ranking next week.

LSU’s basketball team has performed well under first-year head coach Matt McMahon who has led the Tigers to a 12-4 record but is only 1-3 in SEC play.

Tip-off is set for 3:00 p.m. CT on ESPN.
