Rose Zhang has signed a multi-year contract with Adidas as she starts her pro career.
Rose Zhang has been a part of the Adidas family for some time.
She was the first athlete to sign a Name, Image and Likeness agreement with the brand during her time at Stanford.
Zhang’s amateur career was one for the record books with back-to-back NCAA titles and holding World Women’s Amateur No. 1 for a record 141 consecutive weeks.
Zhang signed a multi-year contract with Adidas as she started her professional career wearing apparel, accessories and footwear at the Mizuho Americas Open. She won the event and was the first woman to be victorious in her professional debut on the LPGA since 1951.
“As I begin this next phase in my career, I can’t wait to represent the 3-Stripes as a professional,” said Zhang. “Over the past year we’ve been able to work on some amazing projects together. I love the products and can’t wait to continue this journey with the adidas team.”
“Rose is an elite golf athlete who represents the future of the women’s game,” said Tim McNulty, global director of sports marketing, adidas Golf. “Her accomplishments to date are extraordinary, but we know she’s determined to be the best in the sport, and that’s something we are excited to support as she begins this next chapter of making history.”
Grammy award-winning artist Macklemore has always been a fashion icon. From his hit music to hit vintage outfits, he has always been known for his eclectic style.
Macklemore quickly became a golf addict and knew the space needed a different element of style which is why he started his golf and lifestyle apparel brand, Bogey Boys.
Bogey Boys became a quick success and has now partnered with Adidas to bring a new collection of apparel and footwear. This collaboration is full of classic silhouettes on both the men’s and women’s sides in white and blue hues.
Golfweek’s Averee Dovsek sat down with Macklemore to learn more about his journey into golf and about the new collection.
“As the original sports brand, we’ve been designing product for sports like golf and tennis for more than 50 years,” said Dylan Moore, senior creative director, Adidas Golf. “As we continue our mission to be the most progressive golf brand in the world, this heritage gives us the luxury of revisiting our extensive archives for inspiration. Those now-retro designs were inspiring to us, and we know that golfers are once again looking for products that present classic, clean and bold aesthetics with an attitude. Macklemore and the Bogey Boys team were the perfect partners for this because of their love for vintage apparel and eye-catching designs.”
“This collab is a full-circle moment for me and getting to be a part of the first apparel collection to use the Trefoil for Adidas Golf is special,” said Macklemore. “Taking inspiration from the iconic Originals brand and styles from the 70s and 80s is a perfect fit with Bogey Boys. I love how the entire collection turned out – premium and performance fabrics that you can rock on and off the course. Can’t wait for this one to be out in the world.”
The Adidas x Bogey Boys collection will be available on adidas.com, bogeyboys.com, the adidas app and at select retailers worldwide beginning Wednesday, June 14.

Stay cool on the golf course all summer long with our list of best ways to beat the heat and protect yourself from the summer sun.
Summer is here which means its time to prepare for the hottest and sunniest days of the year.
No matter if it’s 80 degrees, 120 or somewhere in between, you need to have sun protection to avoid sunburns, UV damage and even skin cancer.
John Hopkins Medicine recommends applying water-resistant sunscreen with no less than 30 SPF to exposed skin every two hours. They also recommend using a lip balm that has 15 SPF. Applying sunscreen before you tee off and when you make the turn is a good habit.
With many brands making breathable long sleeve shirts and pants, opting to wear sleeves/pants can save you from overexposure over the course of the golf season.
Check out some of our favorite products to keep you safe in the sun, all summer long. Be sure to check out our favorite sunglasses and hats for the 2023 golf season to keep you looking and feeling cool.
Check out the Superstar, Samba and Stan Smith golf shoes.
Adidas Golf has combined its street style with the technology of a golf shoe and has produced stunning silhouettes over the years.
This time Adidas has reinvented three of its popular models that feature a waterproof microfiber leather upper and other golf technology to promote better traction and stability.
The Superstar Golf was previously released in 2020 and it’s making its return in this capsule. There will be 3-stripes in the mid foot with its distinctive white rubber shell toe. The multi-colored outsole combines grey, silver green, collegiate burgundy and semi-solar orange colorways and includes six replaceable black cleats for traction. The Superstar lettering is debossed in the midfoot for a subtle style statement.
Some models don’t need to be reinvented for them to stay popular. Adidas’ Samba Golf shoe was originally introduced in 2022 and has been brought back. This classic shoe features an adiwear spikeless outsole with additional EVA cushioning in the midsole for support and stability. The outsole is all-white with the same multi-colored marbled colorway as the Superstar. The Samba logo was debossed in the midsole and has an all-grey upper with a dark brown heel tab.
The Stan Smith Golf shoe took the golf world by storm in 2021 and will be rounding out the limited edition capsule. The adiwear rubber spikeless outsole provides a clean and comfortable look and feel. The shoes can be universally worn on and off the course with PU cushioning in the midsole. The polished all-grey upper is contrasted by the same multi-colored marbled outsole with a debossed Trefoil and Stan Smith logo on the heel.
You can shop all three of these shoes starting today at Adidas.com.
