After recently announcing he would be transferring back to the Hawkeye state, recruiting experts are coming around to the idea that 2025 offensive tackle prospect Nick Brooks will eventually choose Iowa.

A consensus four-star talent, Brooks revealed he would be transferring to Kennedy High School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The 6-foot-8, 340 pound offensive tackle was offered by the Hawkeyes after his April 4 visit.

David Eickholt of Hawkeye Insider submitted a 247Sports crystal ball prediction today for Iowa to land Brooks. He joins colleague Sean Bock as 247Sports experts that are projecting Brooks to the Hawkeyes. Bock did so on May 6.

Brooks also has a pair of Rivals FutureCasts in to land with Iowa as well. UGASports.com‘s Ben Bachmann put in his FutureCast on May 6, while Go Iowa Awesome‘s Eliot Clough did the same on May 9.

Hawkeye Report‘s Tom Kakert of On3 was actually the first to put in a prediction for Brooks to Iowa. He submitted his On3 prediction on April 18.

Landing Brooks would be a serious jumpstart to the Hawkeyes’ 2025 recruiting efforts. ESPN rates Brooks as the No. 78 player nationally in the 2025 class, as the No. 11 offensive tackle and the top player in the state of Iowa.

Iowa Hawkeyes offer 4-star 2025 RB Justin Thurman

The Iowa Hawkeyes handed out an offer to talented, four-star running back Justin Thurman out of Tampa, Fla., in the 2025 class.

The Iowa Hawkeyes are getting busy handing out offers in the 2025 class to talented prospects the staff believes can morph into the next wave of black and gold superstars.

Four-star running back Justin Thurman is the latest name to add to that list. A  6-foot, 180 pound running back, Thurman hails from Jesuit High School in Tampa, Fla.

In addition to Iowa, Thurman holds offers from Coastal Carolina, Florida, Florida A&M, Kansas, Kansas State, Rutgers, Tennessee and Toledo.

According to 247Sports, Thurman is a four-star prospect, the nation’s No. 237 player overall, the No. 22 running back and the No. 35 talent from the state of Florida in the 2025 class. Meanwhile, On3 ranks Thurman as a three-star back, the No. 29 running back in the 2025 class and as the No. 47 player from Florida.

Thurman checks in as the No. 255 player nationally, the No. 23 running back and as the No. 39 player from Florida in the On3 consensus rankings.

Per his Hudl page, Thurman lists a 4.31 40-yard dash time, a 4.04 shuttle time, a 36.1″ vertical leap and a 10.87 100-meter dash time.

The Hawkeyes also just sent out an offer to fellow 2025 prospect Dallas Golden out of Berkeley Prep in Tampa, Fla. Golden is regarded as a four-star athlete per On3.

Here’s a more detailed look at what Thurman might add to the Hawkeyes. Below is a peek at his Hudl tape. Plus, his full recruiting profile and offers sheet.

Iowa Hawkeyes offer 4-star 2025 ATH Dallas Golden

Four-star class of 2025 athlete Dallas Golden out of Berkeley Prep in Tampa, Fla., picked up an offer from the Iowa Hawkeyes.

The Iowa Hawkeyes extended an offer to class of 2025 athlete Dallas Golden out of Berkeley Prep in Tampa, Fla. Emphasis on the word athlete.

The 6-foot-1, 175 pound prospect really could play all over. According to MaxPreps, he registered 1,403 rushing yards with 18 touchdowns on 191 carries last season at Berkeley Prep. He also reeled in 10 grabs for 145 yards and one score.

Still, there’s a thought he could be a defensive player at the next level by many. For example, Kevin Sinclair of Irish Illustrated reported that Notre Dame has so far pursued Golden on defense.

That jives with On3‘s recruiting rankings, which places Golden as a four-star prospect, as the nation’s No. 59 player overall, as the No. 4 safety, and as the No. 11 player from Florida in the 2025 class.

Golden is rated as the country’s No. 30 athlete and as the No. 44 player from Florida per 247Sports.

Iowa joins Cincinnati, Duke, Florida State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Syracuse, Tennessee, Texas A&M, UCF, West Virginia, and Wisconsin as Power 5 programs that have offered Golden.

It seems like Iowa is thinking running back for Golden given that he tagged Iowa running backs coach Ladell Betts in his Hawkeye offer tweet. Again, Golden could play all over for the black and gold, though.

Here’s a look at his sophomore season Hudl highlights. Plus, a look at his full recruiting profile and offers.

Iowa Hawkeyes offer 2025 Georgia athlete Kendarius Reddick

Kendarius Reddick, a class of 2025 athlete from Georgia, picked up an offer from the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Iowa extended its sixth offer in the 2025 class to Georgia athlete Kendarius Reddick. The 6-foot, 165 pound athlete is out of Thomas County Central High School in Thomasville, Ga.

It’s still so early in the recruiting cycle for the 2025 class that Reddick doesn’t  register anywhere in any of the major recruiting services’ rankings. Still, his offer sheet paints a picture that the high school sophomore-to-be’s recruitment is ready to take flight.

After earning an offer from the Hawkeyes, that runs Reddick’s total offers to six. Reddick also has offers from Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and Western Kentucky. After an unofficial visit to Florida State on March 22, he’s also drawing interest from the Seminoles.

Georgia Tech was the first to offer Reddick on March 4, 2021. It makes sense that the Yellow Jackets would be first in line as Georgia Tech has had the earliest and closest eye on Reddick. Arkansas and Tennessee followed with a pair of offers this spring on March 6, Virginia Tech offered on March 30, Western Kentucky offered on April 27. Iowa and Kentucky both offered Reddick on May 14.

Reddick played some offense, defense and special teams for Thomas County Central High School. As a freshman, Reddick tallied 37 total tackles, had three passes defensed and one interception according to MaxPreps. He returned that lone interception 38 yards for a touchdown as illustrated by his Hudl highlights below.

One thing the Hawkeye coaching staff will love is Reddick’s willingness and explosiveness in the return game. The 6-foot athlete worked in the punt return game at Thomas County Central High School where he returned several for scores.

His ability to break off coverage and read where an intended pass is going is impressive for someone that’s just completed their freshman season and showcases his instinctiveness in the defensive backfield.

Reddick joins linebacker Kamar Archie, edge rusher Iose Epenesa, wide receiver Isaiah Mozee, edge rusher Gabe Kaminski and safety DJ Pickett.

Here’s a look at Reddick’s freshman season highlights at Thomas County Central High School.
