Dre Kirkpatrick is a name that carries plenty of weight around the Alabama Football program. So how about his son, Dre Kirkpatrick Jr.?

2024 cornerback Kirkpatrick recently visited the Crimson Tide and shared a picture of him at the Alabama facilities on his Twitter.

The young cornerback does not seem to be heavily recruited as of yet, but still has a few years of high school remaining before he has to make a decision on his collegiate career.

Notre Dame offers intriguing 2024 Texas cornerback Black

The Irish have been busy on the recruiting trail

We have been tracking the recruiting for Notre Dame the last few days and it is really heating up. Multiple offers have gone out to talented players, especially in the 2024 and 2025 classes.

Today, that continued as the Irish went out to Texas and offered cornerback Kobe Black. This past week has see the defender add multiple scholarship offers including Oregon, Oklahoma, Texas, Arizona State and today’s offer from Notre Dame.

At six-foot-one-inch and 176-pounds, Black fits the mold of what many teams are looking for in a cornerback. Long, fast and athletic, who can guard bigger wide receivers. It seems like by the time Black will make his decision, there are going to be plenty of options, but hopefully the Irish are in it at the end.

Tennessee offers high school freshman defensive tackle

This young interior defensive lineman is beginning to garner interest from SEC schools.

It is not often a high school freshman begins to reel in Power Five scholarship offers, but that is what 2024 defensive tackle Hevin Brown-Shuler has done early in his career at Pace Academy in Atlanta, Georgia.

Tennessee was first to get on the board and was followed by Arkansas and Georgia.

Brown-Shuler does not have a 247Sports rating since he is still early in his recruiting process, but he weighs in at 6-foot-5, 260 pounds as a high school freshman.

Tennessee has been pursuing several young prospects as it looks to the future, and Brown-Shuler is one of the youngest. The Vols do not have any prospects committed to the 2023 or 2024 recruiting class.
