Four-star running back James Peoples has narrowed down his recruitment to Alabama, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, TCU and Texas. He plans to take visits throughout the spring but has no firm decision date set.
247Sports composite lists Peoples as the No. 6 prospect in the state of Texas and the No. 76 overall player in the 2024 cycle.
Peoples is one of the most productive players in Texas high school football. He ran for nearly 2,000 yards and 28 touchdowns averaging 10 yards per carry as a junior in 2022.
The San Antonio product stands with a strong 5-foot-10, 192-pound frame. He has excellent quickness along with breakaway speed once he hits second gear. Peoples fits the bill as a potential three-down back at the college level.
