Stock down
Dion Dawkins
The Bills offensive line have been generally really good this season, but Dion Dawkins didn’t have a great game. The Dolphins only reached Allen once, but it was completely Dawkins fault. Miami’s edge rusher was initially blocked by Dawkins, but he seemingly passed him off to running back Devin Singletary who was already in pass protection.
Zach Moss/ Devin Singletary
It’s hard to harp on a team that scored 56 points, but the two starting running backs were completely outclassed by an undrafted rookie. Both only had three carries but they combined for just 15 yards. The Bills are a pass-first team, but they still need more productivity from their starting running backs.
Since they are a passing, the two should contribute in the passing attack and they didn’t against Miami. The two had just two grabs for 19 yards.
Not great from the starting backs.
Levi Wallace
The Buffalo Bills still have a problem when it comes to finding a second defensive back. Tre’Davious White along with a few other starters were rested going into their game against Miami, so it was up to Levi Wallace to lock down DeVante Parker.
Frankly, he failed. Parker had seven grabs for 116 yards. Not a great day from Wallace. Parker was consistently beating him down the sideline for big catches, and then Wallace was getting worked in the underneath routes by both Parker and tight end Mike Gesicki.
Dishonorable mentions:
Like last week, outside of these players most of the team played really well. It’s hard to be overly critical of a team that dropped 56 points, and with a majority of starters not playing in the second half.
What a catch by @DeVanteParker11. #FinsUp
