Spring practice is a time period where players work on their craft and develop into real contributors ready for the fall. Coach Sarkisian mentioned four players standing out in spring ball so far.

Defensive back Kitan Crawford is an uber talented athlete in the Texas secondary. He was serviceable in limited action last season. With Arkansas transfer Jalen Catalon still dealing with injury, Crawford is making the most out of his extra reps.

DJ Campbell and Cam Williams having a good spring is key for the depth of the offensive line. Texas feels strong about the outlook of the offensive line.

Byron Murphy is going to be tasked to step up for departing Keondre Coburn and Moro Ojomo. Murphy has produced since his freshman season and is primed for a breakout year.
