Sixers have called up Jaden Springer, Aaron Henry for matchup with Bulls

The Philadelphia 76ers will call up Jaden Springer and Aaron Henry for their matchup with the Chicago Bulls.

The Philadelphia 76ers are entering the Windy  City a little shorthanded as they will still be missing Ben Simmons as well as Tobias Harris, Isaiah Joe, and Matisse Thybulle for being in the league’s health and safety protocols.

Therefore, they will be in need of some extra bodies to help Joel Embiid and Seth Curry out on the floor. There is a chance that Danny Green and Furkan Korkmaz could play, but even that is a tough call.

The Sixers responded by recalling rookie Jaden Springer and two-way player Aaron Henry from the G League to join the team in Chicago. The two were set to play in the opener for the Delaware Blue Coats on Saturday, but they will instead be bodies for the Sixers.

The Sixers will be looking for a second consecutive win over the Bulls after coming away with a win on Wednesday over them at home. A big factor in that game was Thybulle’s defense, but they will have to rely on others to step up in his absence.
