B.J. Foster, DB
This may come as a bit of a shock for some. Ever since he reportedly quit on the team this past season, he’s been a bit of a polarizing player among Longhorn fans. However, his skills are absolutely not the reason why.
With both of last years safeties Caden Sterns and Chris Brown entering the NFL Draft and Jalen Green transferring to Mississippi State, the starting safety spot is his to lose.
When he’s been on the field, Foster has shown talent with nine pass break ups, five sacks, and a pair of interceptions to his name in his career thus far. If he wants to be a part of DBU, he has to play up to the level that’s expected of him.
Playing to the level of a Thorpe award finalist would do just that.
