Placekickers matter and having one who has already been on the Lou Groza award watch list for two consecutive years is worth noting.
Dicker has only missed three extra points throughout his collegiate career at Texas. He has a field goal percentage of 73.4 and a career long of 57 yards. He’s Texas’ best kicker since the Justin Tucker era.
Kicker may not be an attractive position to play, but when you need them, you better have a good one. “Dicker the Kicker” has been as good as they come and perhaps in his senior year he’ll finally receive the Groza award.
