SEC QB rankings at regular season’s end: Kyle Trask just means more

The Heisman Trophy may not go to a quarterback after all this year, but there’s no denying how close Trask and Jones have remained.

2. Mac Jones, Alabama.

There’s no other quarterback within the SEC who blows you away more on the stats sheet than Jones does.

Jones has completed over 76% of his passes for 3,739 yards with 32 touchdowns and four interceptions this year, bringing everything you could possibly ask of a quarterback to the table after the departure of a name as prominent as Tua Tagovailoa.

He’s currently on pace to set the single-season SEC records for completion percentage (76.5%), yards per attempt (11.4) and overall efficiency (202.3), and is very much in the mix for the Heisman Trophy.
