Scattered thunderstorms possible for Colts vs. Jaguars in Week 2

Scattered thunderstorms could arrive in Jacksonville before the end of the Jaguars’ Week 2 game against the Colts.

The Jacksonville Jaguars’ season opener against the Washington Commanders looked like it had the potential to be a rainy day, but that never came to fruition at FedEx Field.

Now, the Jaguars’ home opener against the Indianapolis Colts also has a chance at being a wet one.

Thunderstorms are in the weather forecast for Jacksonville, Fla. later Sunday, and scattered storms could arrive in the early afternoon before the Week 2 game is over.

Accuweather says there’s 40-60 percent chance of rain between 1 and 4 p.m. ET, while The Weather Channel puts the chances around 25-55 percent.

TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville uses grass, so any light showers shouldn’t have too much of an effect on the game.
