Team USA defeated Venezuela, 80-54, in the FIBA Women’s AmeriCup.
The contest took place at Domo de la Feria in Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico.
Tennessee’s Rickea Jackson scored a team-high 11 points for Team USA. Angel Reese of LSU also scored 11 points for Team USA.
Jackson recorded five rebounds, two assists and one block in the contest. She converted 3-of-10 field goal attempts, including 1-of-2 three-point attempts, while converting 4-of-6 free throw attempts.
Tennessee’s Jewel Spear also played for Team USA in the contest. She recorded three points, two rebounds and two assists.
Team USA will next play Argentina on Sunday at 4:40 p.m. EDT.
