Richard Sherman on why the Cowboys won’t hire Deion Sanders

Seahawks great Richard Sherman doesn’t see it happening.

The two biggest stories in football right now are the Dallas Cowboys – currently No. 1 in our Week 3 power rankings – and their former superstar DB Deion Sanders. These days Prime is the head coach at Colorado, where the Buffaloes have already exceeded their projected 2023 win total after putting together one of the most-talented teams in college football in one offseason.

Naturally, there’s been a lot of speculation about what might come next for Sanders. While Prime claims he doesn’t want to coach in the NFL, he might change his tune if a team were to offer him a more-money-than-God type of contract. There’s only one team that would do it – and while Mike McCarthy is doing very well right now running these Cowboys – it’s not hard to imagine them trying to hire Sanders in the coming years if Colorado continues to climb the ladder like this.

However, Seahawks great Richard Sherman doesn’t see it happening. In his most recent appearance on Undisputed, Sherman said that Sanders would overshadow team owner Jerry Jones too much. Watch.
