Ohio State and Big Ten fans received some exceptional news today with the announcement that the conference will reinstate the fall football season. It was then followed up with some even better news.
According to a report from Buckeye Scoop, Ohio State offensive lineman Wyatt Davis is looking to rejoin the team and will be opting back into the football season for 2020.
This comes after Davis announced his decision to opt-out and enter the 2021 NFL Draft. This game as a byproduct of all the confusion surrounding the Big Ten’s process of announcing an update to what was happening with the fall season.
There was more intrigue during a Zoom call Ohio State held with reporters on Wednesday when both head coach Ryan Day and Athletic Director Gene Smith seemed to leave the door open to both he and Shaun Wade returning to the team.
Now, it looks like that’s a real possibility.

With Davis now in reportedly in the fold and back on the team as arguably the best right guard in America, Ohio State is back with having arguably the best offensive line in the country.
As soon as we have anything official from Davis, we’ll let you know. And, we’ll be watching to see what happens with Shaun Wade.
