Report: Former Ohio State cornerback Marshon Lattimore arrested in Cleveland

Former Ohio State and current Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore was arrested in Cleveland Thursday night.

Cleveland.com’s Adam Ferrise is reporting that former Ohio State and current New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore has been arrested in Cleveland for suspicion of possessing a stolen gun, according to police.

Lattimore has yet to be formally charged, but he was booked into the Cuyahoga County jail after being arrested around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday night. Police records show that Lattimore was with three other men who were also arrested and that there was more than one loaded gun reported as stolen inside the car that was stopped.

The three-time Pro Bowler’s attorney called the arrest a “misunderstanding” after news of the arrest was confirmed by Cleveland police spokeswoman Sgt. Jennifer Ciaccia.

This is a developing story, and Lattimore is reportedly cooperating with police as they work through the situation.
