Report: Chargers agree to deal with LB Nick Vigil

The Los Angeles Chargers add some much needed linebacker depth and special teams help.

The Chargers added a member to the linebacker room on Tuesday.

LB Nick Vigil and Los Angeles have agreed to terms, according to Adam Caplan.

The contract details have yet to be announced.

The Bolts released Thomas Davis prior to the start of the new league year and they lost a few key special teamers to various, which left some spots that needed to be filled.

Vigil, the 26-year old, played the past four season with the Bengals. In 2019, he posted 111 total tackles, one sack and one forced fumbles.

Touted as one of the better coverage linebackers from this crop of free agents, Vigil amassed 14 passes defensed and two interceptions since the 2016 regular season.
