Early in the season people were calling for a new kicker in Buffalo (including myself), but kicker Stephen Hauschka finished the season strong, and kept Buffalo in the game against Houston. He made all four of his field goals, including the game tying field goal from 47 yards that sent the game into overtime.

Punter Corey Bojorquez had just four punts with one of them landing inside the Texans 20 yard line. Returner Andre Roberts didn’t return kicks, and returned one punt for eight yards.

Offensive coordinator Brian Daboll had a great first drive that had the Texans on their heels. After that, it was lackluster playcalling, and him relying on the athleticism of Josh Allen to make plays. He also abandoned the run to early in drives, putting his offense in 3rd and long throughout the game.

The biggest issue of Daboll was that he never created an offensive identity for the Bills, and it hampered his offense the entire season. He also didn’t make the proper adjustments in the second half when the Texans started sending more pressure.

Defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier had a great first half, but in the second half he couldn’t adjust for Watson and Hopkins which killed the Bills defense.
