The Bills secondary had an exceptional first half, holding the All-Pro receiver DeAndre Hopkins to zero yards through the first two quarters. It was looking like the Bills were going to lockdown Hopkins and Watson, but those two were able to heat up in the second half. Watson finished the game with 247 yards, and one passing touchdown.

The secondary made some plays though, corner Tre’Davious White stripped the ball out of the hands of Hopkins in the second quarter, where Tremaine Edmunds was able to recover the loose ball.

Corner Siran Neal also contributed with a sack, but was also a culpable for the missed sack on Deshaun Watson that led to the Texan victory. Kevin Johnson also missed a tackle that could have prevented the game winning field goal.
