This may have been the best game the Bills linebackers have played all season. Tremaine Edmunds and Matt Milano had stellar games, that saw them making plays all over the field. The two young linebackers led the team in tackles with a combined 24 tackles. Edmunds contributed with a sack as well, where Watson was about to break containment but Edmunds tracked him down for the sack.

Matt Milano did well to make sure the Texans running backs didn’t have any big plays, by meeting them at the line of scrimmage, and ending the play before it could have started. But Milano might have had the biggest blunder of the game, in overtime he had Watson wrapped up in the backfield but couldn’t bring him down. After escaping the grasp of Milano, Watson completed a 34 yard catch and run that set up the game winning touchdown. Watson also broke of chunks of yardage throughout the second half as well.

This was the last game of Lorenzo Alexander’s career, is unfortunate that it was such a heartbreaking loss. He help create the culture in the Buffalo locker room, and has become a stalwart in the Buffalo community.
