The receivers had more of a mixed performance than their quarterback, and at times let Josh Allen down. On the first series John Brown threw his second touchdown pass of the season, but after that Brown struggled with drops, and didn’t produce any big plays until the fourth quarter. He finished the game with four catches, 50 yards, and had two drops.

Duke Williams played in his second straight games, and like Brown struggled with drops. He had three drops, two of them came at crucial junctions during the game. One was a potential touchdown, and the second would have been a first down with less than a minute left on the clock. Williams finished the game with 49 yards and 4 catches, an average of 12.2 yards per catch.

Other receivers like Cole Beasley, Dawson Knox and Tyler Kroft didn’t do anything to generate offense for Buffalo down the stretch.
