It wasn’t the prettiest game for the offensive line of the Buffalo Bills, they gave up just one sack, but couldn’t create holes for their running backs. The starters were phased out of the game, leading to Barkley get pressured on his throws, and false start penalties across the line.

The line started to solidify as the backups got settled into the game, and the mistakes worked themselves out. Bills fans can’t be comfortable with their backups though, especially Ryan Bates. On Matt Barkley’s first play, Bates was beat, and a hit landed on the quarterback which should have been ruled a fumble.

Unfortunately, offensive tackles Ty Nsekhe and Cody Ford both left with injuries. Nsekhe was coming back from an ankle injury which he appears to have re-injured. Ford returned to the game and was never announced as injured by the team.
