The special teams had another strong week, the weakest member of the unit was punter Corey Bojorquez who had six punts, but averaged just 35.8 yards per punt. He landed two of his punts though inside the 20-yard line of the Jets.

Kicker Stephen Hauschka went 2-for-2, both were chip shots, the longest coming from 29 yards. Returner Isaiah McKenzie averaged a respectable 21.7 yards per kick return, but he returned just one punt for four yards. Typical starting return man Andre Roberts sat out the game due to injury.

Coaching: B

Though the Bills lost, Sean McDermott and his staff out-coached Adam Gase and the New York Jets. Throughout the majority of the game the Bills backups on defense were dominating their matchups, while playing a vanilla defense. McDermott also conducted the nice moment for Lorenzo Alexander.

Offensive coordinator Brian Daboll played a conservative offense, not showing too much of his playbook going into Wild Card weekend. He rested a majority of his starters, giving them more time to prepare for the Houston Texans.
