This was the best overall performance from Buffalo’s special teams all season. Starting with kicker Stephen Hauschka, he hit his lone field goal from 35 yards, and converted his two PAT’s.

Punter Corey Bojorquez had his best game as a Bill. He had six punts, averaging 44.6 yards, and two dropped within the twenty of New England, with one being downed at New England’s one yard line.

Returner Andre Roberts only returned one punt for 17 yards, and two kicks for 57 yards.

The offensive play-calling was pedestrian on Saturday, and the Bills ran a vanilla offense throughout most of the game. Offensive coordinator Brian Daboll through in some jet sweeps to try to confuse New England, and the trick play to Dion Dawkins which resulted in a touchdown.

The defensive play calling wasn’t much better, with Buffalo in their base defense most of the night. Defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier didn’t make many adjustments either, even though New England was running all over his defense.
