Former Alabama and current Baltimore Ravens cornerback, Marlon Humphrey, had a big payday on Thursday!
According to a report by Adam Schefter,
“Ravens’ All-Pro CB Marlon Humphrey is signing a five-year, $98.75 million extension, per source. Marlon Humphrey’s agent Joel Segal and Ravens’ exec Pat Moriarty worked until past 2 am this morning to seal this deal.”
This contract extension will make Humphrey the second highest-paid cornerbacks in the league according to Spotrac. The only player with a contract wore more than Humphrey’s is Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey who has a five-year, $100 million deal.
The Ravens did announce Humphrey’s new deal on Twitter, but they did not release the specific terms yet.
Besides the $98.75 million dollar contract, according to NFL Network, the contract included $66 million guaranteed money.
