Ranking the 11 active ‘NBA 75’ members by chances to win the next championship

From Giannis Antetokounmpo’s attempt to repeat to Damian Lillard’s sad situation in Portland.

No matter the league, championships are among the most coveted accomplishments in all of sports. And perhaps in no league are they used as a barometer of greatness more than the NBA.

Michael Jordan’s status as G.O.A.T. is often credited to his 6-0 NBA Finals record. Other superstars are held back in similar conversations by their lack of a title or comparable title amounts to other players.

That doesn’t mean those players aren’t acknowledged as all-time greats. A glimpse at the NBA’s 75th anniversary team shows several players who deservingly made the cut despite their lack of a championship. But within those ranks is where the accolades matter, including things like MVPs, All-NBA, All-Defense and All-Star selections. The list goes on.

For the majority of those 75, it’s too late to change the narrative about their careers and where they stand among other giants. However, 11 of them are still active and have ample time to add to their legacies. Below we take a look at those active players and their current situations and rank them based on best chances to win a championship, either this season or beyond.
