Rams Wire talks to Trojans Wire about Pac-12 NFL draft prospects

.@DonJamesSports was interviewed by @TheRamsWire about #Pac12 NFL draft prospects who might be able to help the Rams.

Trojans Wire’s Don James talked to Rams Wire analyst Brock Vierra about USC-related football topics earlier in November. Brock Vierra wanted to turn things around and get Don’s views of USC NFL draft prospects, Pac-12 draft prospects, and more.

Here’s an excerpt from Brock Vierra at Rams Wire, where draft questions and prospect evaluations are filtered through a Rams-centric lens:

Q: Washington’s Michael Penix Jr. versus Oregon’s Bo Nix. Which quarterback is the better fit for the Sean McVay offense?

“James: I think Nix is a great fit for McVay and the Rams offense. I think he could sit behind Matthew for another season and learn from him and play significant snaps if needed in Year 1.”

There’s more from the article on USC NFL draft prospects, the coaching carousel — including a former Pac-12 head coach — and other items of interest at this time of year. Be sure to follow Rams Wire for more on not just the Los Angeles Rams, but on the 2024 NFL draft.
