Player grades: Joel Embiid, Sixers rally from 17 down to knock off Magic

Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers complete a rally from 17 points down to knock off the Orlando Magic on the road.

The Philadelphia 76ers were looking to bounce back from a bad home loss on Thursday when they hit the road to take on the pesky Orlando Magic. The Sixers were also looking to complete the season sweep of the Magic and it seemed like the perfect game to be able to get back in the right direction, especially with two days off.

However, this one continued a recent troubling trend for Philadelphia as they found themselves getting off to another slow start. This one saw the Magic open up a 17-point lead in the first half and they looked like they were in control. It wasn’t until the third quarter when Joel Embiid and the Sixers kicked it into high gear and they rallied to win in Orlando 116-114 in overtime.

Embiid led Philadelphia with 35 points, 16 rebounds, and seven assists, Tobias Harris was big in overtime and had 26 points and nine rebounds, James Harden struggled shooting the ball at 5-for-19 for 26 points with six rebounds and six assists, and Tyrese Maxey added nine points. Georges Niang did add 16 points off the bench as well.

Here are the player grades following the comeback win:
