For a number of reasons, Saturday was a special day in Colorado football history. Not only did the No. 22 Buffs beat rival Nebraska in head coach Deion Sanders’ home debut, but they also opened their 100th season at Folsom Field and secured a spot on ESPN’s “College GameDay” for next week.

Over 53,000 fans packed Folsom for the highly-anticipated matchup, marking the stadium’s highest attendance in 15 years. Quarterback Shedeur Sanders was impressive once again as he connected with wide receiver Xavier Weaver for 170 yards and a touchdown.
