The ML is unplayable at its expensive price tag. Wheeler is also just 1-3 with a 3.80 ERA and 1.18 WHIP in 4 career starts at Oracle Park against the team that drafted him.
Instead, I’m going with ZACK WHEELER OVER 18.5 OUTS (-110).
He’ll need to go 6 1/3 IP to do it, but he threw 7 IP with 11 K’s against the Giants May 6, and he has gone 7+ in 2 straight and 3 of 4 GS.
Run line/Against the spread
I like the Phils to take the multi-run win here. They’re 6-4 against the Giants in the last 10 meetings, and they took the most-recent game 6-1 with Wheeler on the bump against SF.
Take the PHILLIES -1.5 (-125).
Over/Under
The wind is slated to be blowing out to centerfield Tuesday night at 14 mph. The Over cashed Monday, and with the Giants going with a bullpen game, I look for this total to cash easily. The Over is 6-3-1 in the last 10 meetings.
