The Game is back on the schedule where it would traditionally fall — sort of.
When the original conference-only schedules were released back in early August, one of the most significant changes included an Ohio State vs. Michigan game towards the middle of all the games. That was in contrast to it normally falling on the last Saturday in November as the last regular-season game of the year.
It made sense at the time because the thought was to have it early enough in the year for it to be played and not canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. That idea went the way of Michigan football championships though when the season was shelved out of extreme caution for the safety of the student-athletes.
Now we have a new schedule, and the game against TTUN isn’t on the last Saturday in November, but it is locked in as the last game of the regular season on December 12, as you would normally expect.

In a season where nothing is traditional because of the extraordinary year of 2020, it’s at least a slight nod to what we’re used to with it being a closing argument to the season.
There’s no time yet for the game, but it’ll be televised on FOX. You’d have to think it’ll be in the traditional Noon window as the Big Noon Kickoff Game of the Week but that has yet to be confirmed. When we do know a kickoff time, we’ll update accordingly.
