Ohio State is in Michigan’s head
Ohio State has now beaten Michigan 14 out of the last 15, and Wisconsin has beaten Minnesota 14 straight. Don't underestimate the psychological component that has on teams. Michigan was beaten before they stepped foot in the Shoe.

I remember the time when the script was flipped, and believe me when I say it mattered that there was a psychological block. You can lose track of how many times Michigan beat a more talented Ohio State team in the 90’s, but when The Game rolled around, the Buckeyes played tight and desperate.
We’ve seen that a little bit too with Michigan. Now, it’s a little different because the Buckeyes have had the better roster more often than not, but I really believe the Wolverines did so much talking the last few years because they were trying to make themselves believe.
It takes a breakthrough to change the culture, but it’s so hard to get that moment to happen when the snowball has been tumbling down hill for so long.
