Midway through the season, the Ohio State football team has officially welcomed another member into the brotherhood. This time coming in the form of Sam Hart, a three-star tight end from Colorado.
Hart committed early in the recruiting cycle all the way back in 2019. He ended up being rated the No. 16 tight end in the 2021 class according to 247Sports composite rankings. Hart was the only tight end in the Buckeyes 2021 class of recruits.
Listen to what Hart had to say after being officially welcomed.
“I just want to thank ya’ll for welcoming me into the brotherhood. I want to thank the defense, the tight end unit, coaches get me better every day, pushing me. Go Bucks!”

With depth at the tight end position, Hart won’t be in the plan for this year. But with some continued work, he could become a presence in the future.
